Suture Practice Pad for Medical Students 7.2 x 5.2 x 0.75 inches

I have found this to be an excellent suture practice product at a price much lower than competitors. Very close to skin texture, no tearing, and suture marks seem to disappear when the suture is removed. Good size. Highly recommended.

The premade lacerations are nice, but the material is not firm enough... any suture 3-0 or above will slice through it like a soft cheese. Fine for newbies, but if you’re a med student or resident invest in something a little more high end.

This is only decent for simple suturing, such as simple interrupted or simple running. If any tension is placed on the suture, this breaks through. So frustrating. Also, make sure you have a teeny needle, this is impossibe to work with if you don’t. It’s like suturing a fragile bar of soap.

Useless. Sutures tear easily through material. Waste of time and money. Pigs feet worked much better.

Pretty good to practice on! I just don't know how many uses I will get out of it :/

Moved to a clinic where suturing was more prevalent. Great kit to practice up.
