Good product. Packing left a bit to desire.
Exactly as expected. Only issue would be heavy plastic bag with a bread bag twist tie closing it. Potential for drying out in shipping is high.

New Ears! Finally!!
This stuff is great. Our family hippo bank lost his ears in the mid 80’s. He’s no longer earless! Not only that, but I forgot how fun real clay is to work with. Took me back to grade school in the early 60’s. I can’t wait to get this out when my grandsons come. It’s great to work with and it dries so you can keep what you make. I highly recommend this for creative fun!

Not What We Thought It Was
So, I recently started doing some clay work and my boyfriend ordered me this and a couple other clay items, but when he ordered this, he didn't realize this particular clay needs a kiln to heat up, so it has been sitting in storage still in all it's original packaging because I haven't bought a kiln yet (and I've gotten over my clay hobby) I did open it once and play with it a little and it was easy to mold but I haven't baked anything with it so I can't give too much of an opinion about that.

Tons of fun
Product was great! I will definitely be buying more. I have a lot of practicing to do before I can make anything worth keeping. However I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

Worked for what I needed it for.
First time using pottery clay and worked perfectly for what I needed it for. Easy to shape and even easier when you use water.

Got more than I expected
Love this purchase! The clay is very elastic which I prefer to use on a wheel how ever I have no problem using it for my hand built sculptures. It dries decently hard and doesn't feel too brittle. I live in rural Alaska and it still arrived within a few days, upon arrival the clay was very moist and it dries slow enough I was able to roll many coils without them cracking. This product is VERY fine so if you prefer course (textured) clay this wouldn't be the item for you. I will absolutely be back for more.

Listing is soooo very misleading it deserves a 1 star, the clay is extremely expensive per pound.
The picture on this listing shows a standard 25 pound rectangle bag of clay. Yet, what is being sold is an extremely expensive 5lb cube of clay. I should have looked more closely, but the price and the picture was on par with what this type of clay costs, so, I bought it. With 1,200 conveniently good reviews, I quickly added to my cart.As someone who works in marketing, this type of decoy deception is so common and deeply irritating.A 25 pound bag of clay is around $20-25 dollars, around $1 or less per pound. This cube of clay that fits in the palm of my hand is $4.20 per pound. Basically Bezos highway robbery. And yes, the listing does automatically select the 5lb option while displaying the 25lb option, but it says 5lb in the listing title which means no, you won't win a dispute. (They are deceptive but not stupid.) They are counting on humans being low information, visual shoppers. And what on earth does any potter want with 5lb of clay anyway? Who even sells that size?Just don't buy this clay. Go to your local pottery open studio and buy a $20 25lb bag of clay instead. The studio will sincerely appreciate your business - thats where I'm going today, should have started there tbh. These 3rd party listing people count that you won't pay attention to what you're buying, they'll come out on top with selling WAY over priced goods, and assume you'll be too lazy to return overly expensive clay. And they'd be right.I won't return this because its not worth the environmental impact, but I will however offer an honest review :) And no, I won't remove it for a refund.
