Not bad for the price
For the size, there not bad, and for the price, i mean you cant really beat it. Only thing i didnt like, the tips of the tongs are laminated. Not a big issue if you got some borax, and a hot forge.

Works great
Highly satisfied with this purchase until now I was forging my own tongs or using vicegrips but these are great very comfy grip they don't transfer much heat from the metal that im working on

The grip is very strong, they do not lock but I didn't expect them to lock. Pretty much as advertised, no complaints.

Maybe I ordered a smaller pair of tongs, but if not, I would honestly prefer the tongs to be a bit larger.I think those are the only defects I've found.I would recommend it for people who use it to put their pieces into ovens and for use in small coal forges. But it is more recommended for beginners."

Grip size
I would not buy this again, quality is fine but the angle of the handles means anything your grab then expands the grip needed to hold onto the tongs. Get tongs that handles run parallel to each other when closed.
