Cheap Fix For Cameras
This was an easy way to seal up those analog cameras and to replace worn out sealants. You can also add this anywhere you feel the original camera left off for those light leaks.

Works well for its intended purpose and others
I got a sheet of this to fix the seals in my Canon AE1 program and it worked perfectly, my test roll of film had no light leaks. Now I also rebuilt a vintage keyboard and all the pads under the keys had gotten hard, I ran strips of this stuff under the keys and it stopped the clacking! Its a very tough material, it doesn't tear easily, I ordered another sheet to make sure I have it in stock....

WORKS WELL!
My Mamiya RB67 Pro S had light leaks. I did 3 shoots in a weekend. When I went to developed the film all the rolls has lines across the film. Telling me that I had light leaks. From memory, I remember seeing a video on YouTube on how to fix it. The video had a link directly to this product. With a little patience and time I was able to fix the problem fairly easily. It saved on money and the waste of further film! I highly recommend buying this! Worth every penny.

Very sticky, tricky to cut.
Sticks very well. Make sure you have tweezers to handle it. Cutting can be difficult as it sticks to a blade and can get rough.

Great product! Does what it is designed for.
Very nice foam. Easy to cut with an exacto knife. The adhisive sticks without problems and stays firmly in place. With that being said, it gets the job done perfectly. Used it to seal off light leaks on 1909 Kodak camera. The results very perfect. The includded sheet goes a long way. This will last me to service many other camers.

Buy this over those expensive precut kits
I bought this for my Olympus XA which only had glue from the old light seals. Instead of buying a kit for double the price even triple, I decided to just make my own. If you know the rough shape you need, literally only scissors are needed. The foam is plenty thicc, and when I shut the back door with the seals you can physically tell there’s resistance from the foam which means it’s sealing up perfectly. I used maybe like 1/100th of the total material they provided so I could probably redo it like 100+ times over with the extra material.

The real deal
Excellent product. If you are seriously restoring a camera, this is the only foam to use. It's the same spec used in original Nikon, Canon and Cosina bodies (Cosina makes camera guts for tons of different companies). If you are restoring more than 2-3 cameras, get the assortment kit. I bought them individually as I needed different sizes- but the variety pack is cheaper. They are all handy, as you can stack varieties to meet the required millimeters you need in thickness.

The light seal (1.5mm) product is excellent and big enough to seal multiple cameras. Sticks fantastic and seals well! Quick shipping. Recommend.

I like to maintain my own equipment and learning how to do that. I learnt about the foam by trial and error. I tried the other foams from local hobby shops and the cheap stuff from ebay. Unfortunately they were all wanting, this was the right material for the job, and you can tell when you apply it. The equipment closes and opens properly, and functions correctly. You have to wait for the foam to arrive, but it's worth waiting for.
