Easy to set up
My new design wall was so very easy to put up. These boards are lightweight, easy to attach with 3M strips. They look good, nice and fresh white flannel, good size. And I was so happy not to have to make my own insulation boards again, don't have time for that! Buying these saved me a lot of project time. Id rather be creating. I already have a couple quilt blocks attached to it and they've held up well.

More Versatile than Expensive Designer Version
I bought these because I just did not want to PAY for another expensive (Lori Holt) version, although I do like hers. These are a rectangle rather than a square which I find works better in my space. Also I can afford to have a dozen so I can stack all my cut quilt pieces for each project. AND these have the ability to be attached to a wall edge to edge to create a design wall as large or small as your space allows. These are very high quality. I actually prefer the texture of these as well. Highly recommend this product

Buy these!
Seriously, BUY THESE if you are a quilter and need a great spot to display your blocks. These are beautifully made, super-easy to hang, and look great on the wall. I bought the package of 6, but might get more. I wanted to start small as I don't have a lot of wall space in my sewing room. I used command strips and only needed a level to set the first one in place. The rest was a breeze.

Makes a sturdy design wall
The individual boards are lightweight and adhere easily to walls using 2 Command strips per board. It’s so nice now not to have to use the floor when laying out a quilt pattern. Fabric sticks very easily and holds until you remove it. This has made my quilting projects so much easier to work with, while envisioning and/or rearranging the project I’m working on. I don’t know why I waited so long to buy this product! I highly recommend this design wall product!

Wonderfully light and useful
I use these to lay out blocks for quilting. I did not hang them on the wall. I thought that the materials used were very nice. The boards are covered with a lightweight fleece that holds material well. I expected, based on the listening, that the entire backs would be covered with fleece. Such is not the case; the fleece is pulled tightly around the back on each board and glued. I was a bit disappointed that the backs did not look nicer (and that the boards could not be flipped), but overall I am pleased with the purchase. These boards would be great for someone who wants to create a design wall using command hooks.

Yes, you do need this.
Enhanced my creativity because it’s so easy! I like to make smallish art pieces and this is great, to really see how fabrics will look together, SO much better than on the floor or work table! Now I can play around, leave it up, rearrange the fabrics, really live with the design for awhile to see how I like it. I arranged these so that two more panels will fit above for when I work on a bed quilt. I’ll need a ladder, but in the past I was always climbing one trying to get a photo of my design and of course I still couldn’t get a proper perspective.I can use pins, something I didn’t expect, which is wonderful: the piece on the top right and the red, black, yellow and white log cabin piece have already been quilted, so they won’t stay up for long otherwise. I found a charm of a little house at a thrift shop, and thought it would be a nice addition to one of my earliest, most rustic pieces. Also, when I want to try a fabric without cutting it, I can fold it into the size I want and stick it up there to look at. Installed easily with Command strips. Threads come off easily with a lint roller.A little pricey, but much easier than what I was planning to do: drive to the hardware store and buy insulation board, get it in my car, up to my apartment, and staple flannel sheets onto it, and I doubt very much that it would have been any cheaper.

BXI Quilt Design Wall
I wanted to try these before I invested in an entire wall. I purchased the small 16x 12 because I need boards for my quilt blocks. As we know quilters somehow from cutting and pressing to sewing machine the blocks or pieces get twisted around. These are perfect for that purpose. So now that I have tries them out I will most definitely be purchasing the larger ones to make a design wall.

OMG!!! I LOVE THIS!
I just made myself a 96" wide by 85" high planning wall for quilts with a combination of large size and small BXI panels to fill out a wall. I could not be happier with how it turned out. It took my husband and I less than an hour using 2 way sticky tape to put the panels in place. I have long wanted a nice planning wall but until recently did not have a large wall to work with. Initially I ordered one pack of small panels to be sure they would work for me and I was excited right away. I put some scrap fabric on one and waved it around and they stayed put! I can't wait to plan my first quilt with this awesome planning wall!!
