Delivered on time, package in good shape, I like the item, the only problem with item is speed 1 and 3 run at same speed. 2,4,5, work just fine, but when shift from 2 to 3 motor slows back down to #1 speed. I contacted seller about speed problem, and they made it right, sending me a replacement motor. I would definitely recommend this seller to do business with. Thank's again for making things right. I can't say enough good things about seller.

I like the thrust. I don’t like having to use 2 batteries for 24 volt power

put this 86lb thrust on my 20ft pontoon boat no problem pushing it any where I want to go I recommend it to others I will buy another one if need be.

Purchased this back in Sept. Ive had it in the water 3 times. The motor itself seems to be decent. This is the 86 lb. thrust and it moves my 14/36 jon boat across the water well. My one star review is because as of today, 3rd time in the water, the plastic tilt mechanism broke. I was able to finish out the day fishing, but not being able to tilt the motor because now it just flops and will not lock into place makes this item essentially useless. There is no name or manufacturer in the instruction manual nor here on Amazon to be able to find replacement parts or even where to return to since the 30 day window has closed for returns. Manual claims there is a one year warranty but doesnt give any info as to just who the hell is warrantying it!!! I guess i got what i paid for, a cheap throw away trolling motor. I only wish i had at least gotten my $200 worth out of it and maybe gotten a years worth of use before it crapped out. Live and learn i suppose.

I’ve not yet unpacked this motor, and seeing displayed on the motor “24 volts”. The item description is confusing. In one place it states 86lbs of thrust at 24 volts. Another says unit can be adjusted to 60lbs of thrust using 12 volts. Is this true?If so, I like the versatility and will keep it. If not, I’ll be returning it.

Had to return motor. It was to small. Have not heard from Cold Mountain on refund. It's been a month.
