Overall, I’m quite pleased with this rug. I did not realize that rug makers (like lumber producers) use “nominal” measurements (2 x 4s don’t measure 2” x 4”). The rug is nearly 9’ x 12’ (105.5” x 139 7/8”)

Area rug has black spots on it .I was able to use soap an water an clean off .

This is a beautiful rug and is exactly the quality I was looking for, as I've purchased other Safavieh area rugs and have been happy with how they've held up. My only "complaint" is that the rug I received is 8' 8" in diameter, not 9'. The seller, and other purchasers, have said this is due to natural variation in construction because it's handmade. However, it's interesting to me that no review mentions getting a rug LARGER than expected, always a bit SMALLER. I'm still happy with it, but as other reviewers have pointed out, if you need it to be exactly 9', you likely won't get that here.

I give 5 stars for the rug appearance- it looks beautiful for sure. I give 3 stars for the shedding - little pieces of white wool constantly around the rug - I have to vacuum every other day otherwise the grey ceramic floor looks dusty against the light reflection on it. I bought this rug knowing about the shedding and I still decided to purchase it for the look. I decided I will deal with that shedding. I read almost all reviews before purchasing and I noticed that there were very little or almost no bad reviews about the navy color of the rug. It seems the most bad reviews were about the light blue and grey color rugs. I decided to purchase the navy one instead the blue one because of the reviews and besides the navy one matches the colors in my house better. I bought 9x12 but actually there were 3 inches fewer on one side and 9 inches fewer on the other side! Not a big deal for me but that’s might be a big difference in the size for someone else. I wish too the size was correct as listed. It’s a soft and very heavy rug. I put part of it under the couch so I don’t even need any rug pad. I probably wouldn’t need any rug pad anyway because of the heaviness of the rug. It’s just too heavy to move from place. There was some smell at the moment of unpacking the rug and for the fit few days but after that the smell disappeared. I do have a huge open space in my living room so maybe that’s why the smell wasn’t bad and disappeared completely quicker. Overall, I am happy with the rug. It was delivered a few days earlier than expected wrapped up in plastic.

Ordered rug in used but good condition, came in like a brand new rug! I couldn't tell it had ever been used before!

I ordered a 2x3 of this to try before ordering a larger size. Glad I did because it smelled so much like maybe a basement that I had to put it in another room with an air purifier running and even then the smell came out from under the door. It is now outside. If the smell dissipates will keep but would definitely not get the larger one. The colors are as shown and the rug is soft and very pretty. Update: It is now a week later and the room the rug was in with the air purifier continued to small like the rug for about five days after the rug was no longer in it. I had put the rug out on the sidewalk. Someone took it, so it’s smell is no longer my problem.

We absolutely love this rug. Looking at some of the sellers as well as customer pictures, it seemed as if white would be the dominant color, but this is definitely a navy rug with white accent.1) it was delivered on time2) Amazon had the lowest price compared to other online websites by $200 compared to rugsusa and overstock3) this is a really thick and soft rug. It feels great on your feet, especially the varying sizes between the navy and white give you soft texture as you walk. You probably don’t need a rug pad, but we used one anyway (more on that later)4) mine did not smell or shed nearly as much as other people said on previous reviews. I am not sure if it’s a different manufacturing process or I just got lucky.*Update* this thing sheds like crazy! That doesn’t bring it down as far as I’m concerned, just know that you’ll need to vaccum it for a lot for the first few weeks5) I have had it for 2 days and so far it does a good job of keeping clean. We have no kids but do have 2 huskys that are constantly shedding or losing hair....lets just say we can fill a vaccum bin every day in just our living room. Our old rug was primarily black so we had to vaccum everyday to keep it looking clean. So far, their fur blends in and this rug looks good hiding dirt/hair. Now I still prefer to vaccum everyday, but it’s good to have the option not to without the place looking like a doghouse.6) my only critisism is that this rug does run smaller than a full 9’x12’ that it’s listed. It’s 3”-4” inches shorter an both length and width. This isn’t a big deal for us, but it might be for you if you are carefully measuring your space. It’s was also annoying because we bought a pre-trimmed 9’x12’ rug pad and needed to trim it to fit. Not a huge deal, just a small inconvience. If there was a 10 star rating system, we would give it 9 just for the small inconvience.

Nun dachte ich, endlich einen Teppich gefunden zu haben, der in eine schmale Ecke passt: 62 x 240 cmErster Eindruck: Optisch klasse.Nach dem Auslegen und Entsorgen des Verpackungsmaterials - er sieht ja hübsch aus - stelle ich fest, dass er mir doch größer erscheint. Und siehe da: Die tatsächliche Breite beträgt76 cm. Das ist eine dicke Abweichung von14 cm. Ja, und eigentlich war das Kaufargument, dass es diesen Teppich in 62 cm gibt.Und jetzt: VP-Material entsorgt. Joa... Gar nicht glücklich

es sieht besser aus, als es ist! es roch nach Kellergeruch, immer noch etwas, die Farbe ist vergilbt, lässt ständig viel Fussel... Also, es verdient seinen Preis nicht! Schade um das Geld!

Der Teppich ist wunderschön. Nur fusselt er anfangs sehr stark wg dem ausgeschnittenen Muster. Gibt sich aber nach ein paar mal Saugen. Zum direkt draufsitzen ist er nicht so bequem, er piekst ein bisschen. Aber im Großen u Ganzen: Klare Kaufempfehlung

Dieser Teppich ist außergewöhnlich schön und angenehm unter den Füßen - ein tolles Design, das sehr schwer zu finden war!
