Daron Worldwide Trading Postage Stamp A-6 Intruder Va-52 Knightriders 1/14 Airplane Model

Nice model of a A-6E Intruder. The nice thing about this model is that the plane according to the markings on it,was based on the USS Kitty Hawk. My uncle was based on the Kitty Hawk for a few years in the late years of the Vietnam war and after.

Cried when I found this model A6. It’s actually my husband’s old squadron and the plane number is two digits off of the one he flew. It is such a clean, clear, solid replica and my husband was blown away when I showed it to him.Got it for our five year old grandson. I’m making him a book with photos of his Pop Pop flying it off the carrier. Can’t wait to see his reaction.

I love this model but they are very tightly packed and one of the bombs came off while I was removing it from the package. I’m not sure if it was loose in the package already. That said it was easily fixed with modeling glue.

Read the book Flight of the Intruder. Jake Grafton!Built a 1/144 scale model when I was in high school but didn’t keep it with all the various moves. Bought this and others to fill the void and start a new collection (minus the extra hours building, painting and decaling).This models refueling probe came bent. It’s bent back in place now but will eventually break. It’s plastic. Otherwise, very cool to have it back.Feet wet. Bingo fuel.

Loved the detail and how well this blended into my collection of fire trucks. Fell in love with this plane after the movie Flight Of The Intruder.

I’m an old, really old A-6 driver. I served a combat tour in Vietnam in VA-52, off the Kitty Hawk, flying an earlier model of the Intruder. A few years later I Commanded VA-52 flying the full sized version of your faithful scale model. I now proudly display your beautiful replica at the top of my trophy case.
