UPDATE:I reached out to customer service and had a response within 24 hours. After providing them with the receipt and picture of the broken lid, they have sent a replacement. They were extremely responsive and went above and beyond to rectify the broken lid. I have updated the review to five stars due to loving the lunchbox because it’s leakproof, but also due to their amazing customer service.To preface this, I have reached out to support and I’m hoping for a timely resolution. In the meantime, I wanted to provide my review to warn other parents not to purchase this product as it’s defective. School just started last week and my son has used this particular lunch box twice. While cleaning it today, the piece that locks the lid to keep it from leaking broke. I did purchase two so I have another one. That’s so far has no issue. If I hear from support, I will update this with the resolution.

This is the second lunch box we have purchased from here. They are very durable and do not fade in color. They are easy to clean and the kids love the cute designs. We have also gotten the matching water bottles which are also great!

This is the cutest lunch box. My little boy loves it. Well made. Perfect little compartments for him. He has already been carrying it around. Locks well. I think it’ll hold up good and won’t leak. Perfect for his age range, he’s 5. Very easy to use. The lock on it isn’t too tough for his little fingers but tough enough to keep it closed. Love the little design. Hopefully it will hold up the entire school year.

My kids are in preschool and these are great to pack for lunch time! I save a lot of plastic bags and tin foil by using these. They’re super easy to clean. My kids can open them by themselves. And they fit nicely in their backpacks and the cabinet when not in use. Totally recommend!

We bought this for my son for his first year of school. The product is amazing. Very durable and easy to open for smaller kids.

I bought three of these Simple Modern bento boxes for my 2 and 4 year old (one was a spare) and within the first 2 months, the latch broke because the hinge is just a tiny pice of plastic (less than 1/4) AND they are hard to latch. It’s a terrible design. I sent a message to the company and they needed a photo of the broken latch, photo of the bottom of the entire bento box, and photo of a the receipt. All easy enough just time consuming for a busy working mom that bought these because normally Simple Modern is good quality. They said they did not have the individual parts so they sent me an entire new lunch box on the first one. (That broke in less than a month). Don’t bother with these unless you want to be preparing lunch at 10pm for the next day and have them break and be out of luck. I tried to get a replacement for the other two yet.

Work wells, seals tight. Might be a little hard for a 4 year old to make sure its closed before sending back home. No complaints though, working great, glad I got it.

Me encantó porq es hermética, yo la quería para mi hija de prepa y pues no, más bien para Kinder y así los compartimentos están chiquitos, ya la usé para otras cosas y no se tira nada ni se revuelve la calidad muy buena, si la volvería a comprar

Al momento de abrir para lavarlo se rompió la tapita de cierre y solamente se ha usado desde el 26 de agosto a la fecha, creí que iba a ser más duradera, ya que tengo termos de la marca y para nada tengo inconvenientes. Desafortunadamente ya no se puede seguir utilizando.

Es igual a la imagen. De hecho es de plastico duro que se siente pesado y esta excelente. Muy buenos divisiones y calidad. Nos encanto
