Bought this for a dear friend for Christmas!She absolutely loves it and was so impressed!

Awesome! My granddaughter was mesmerized by it! She has it on every evening on her nightstand. This was a gift for her dance recital. She is 7 yrs old. We all liked it!

This is a pretty music box. Some of the pictures are deceiving because the globe part is not as big as it should be on the base. The globe is not uniform in size with the base. The base is too big for the globe and makes the globe look too small. The globe is heavy and is the same size as a pool table ball. The globe is not attached to the base which is a little strange, but I guess it does let you switch the angle of the picture inside if you want to move the globe around. The base has a switch to turn the light on or off, which is a nice touch. The bottom has a metal circle that can be turned to start the music and to start the base and globe to turn. The base is a light wood color. The picture inside the globe looks like a mother hugging her daughter from the back and they both have wings and they’re both wearing long dresses. It comes with a USB cable to charge the music box. The melody is sweet, but I don’t know what song it is. It does arrive in a nice, black box, ideal for gift giving.

I love this music box so much! It’s beautifully designed and is relaxing to look at and listen to. The crystal globe clearly shows the image inside and transmits the lotus projection without any flaws. The light is optional and can be turned on or off by flipping the switch on the side of the base. The globe can also be removed from the base so if it’s being moved around I’d recommend carrying them separately so it doesn’t accidentally fall. The music can be played by winding the gear on the bottom of the base and the song is Laputa from Castle in the Sky. It’s a beautiful melody from my childhood and hearing it takes me back to simpler times. I can just sit and listen for hours to wind down from a long day.

I ordered this product and was so in awe of it. Its handcrafted very well, with love and thought put into it. Its beautiful and it plays a lovely melody. I recommend this as a gift to that special woman or person in your life. It is simply heart warming when I have this in my room and it's lit up.
