I got this and was able to make 40 small candles from the materials. Easy to use little bit of learning curve great use of my money. Quality was great and they're pretty durable on top of it

Okay set however the thermometer is a bit slow and the candle wicks have a strong burn scent when you blow or blow it out. Pros: the wax melts well in the canister and burns well when lit. The metal canister is fine but due to its handle it is a bit awkward in a double boiler.

This is great for beginners, because it's got everything one needs to make candles. It's perfect to buy just to see if this is a craft you would like to start doing more seriously. The itevery well made and it's fun to do. Has great smells. Great value. Even comes with warning stickers in case you want to sell your candles.

I am so glad I got this when I wanted to start make my own candles. It makes making my own candles easy. Just add the essential oils or fragrances.

Great amount of wax for what you spend. The thermometer did work and the handle on the pot broke off only after two uses. The was is easy to melt and holds color and scent pretty well. The price is worth just due to the amount of wax you get. That's the only thing that makes it worth the value I spent on it.

I purchased this item to make fire starters. So far the wax met my expectations, as a wax newbie.When it melts does have a light yellowish color but once is cold is completely white. the metal container worked perfectly, i thought the plastic handle will melt, so far it have not with two uses so far. I have a gas stove and the torches can be extreme for the size of the bin.
