Lockways Corkboard Bulletin Board, 48x36 Inch Double Sided Cork Board, Notice Message Pin Board, Silver Aluminium Frame

Like another reviewer stated it seems almost impossible to find a solid cork board of reasonable thickness these days. This one is better than the dozen other boards I looks at. Looked at 5 different websites. Old standard push pins do not really pop out the back but if you hold your fingers on the back you can feel the point. There is enough room between the frame bevel and the wall to keep it from scratching the paint but no large pins unless you want to mangle your wall. This is made reversible so the back is just cork. It does not have a backing to it! Seriously, I would happily pay another 10-20 dollars for a board of proper thickness with a simple backing. Use some engineered hard board. Why is everything made so cheap now days? This will work for what I need for now but if I can find a used old board that is of better make this thing is gone. If I could find a better option Right now I would return it. Keep looking if you want a quality product design and engineering.

I got this mounted on my wall easily enough with the included mounting hardware and it looks great up on the wall, but it isn't anything like the old bulletin boards I remember from school, or even the bulletin board I had in my former home about twenty years ago. The cork just seems thin, but ironically thicker than many out there from my research. Is cork now a super expensive resource now? I wish I had looked for a used bulletin board from the old days. Thankfully I'm not going to use it continually, just to keep a few things visible at a time for a short time.

I have to admit that I am using this for an unusual purpose. I am using it to solve murders in a serial murder game. It works perfectly for it. I have it hanging on a wall next to my white board where I have clues written and clues stuck up on the cork board so that I can look at everything and cross reference clues easily. It works for me, and I get more enjoyment out of the game having the cork board.

These boards are great! I bought two of the largest size for my kids, covered them with peel & stick wall paper and spray painted each of their first initials on them. The boards arrived in perfect condition making the project easy. They went up like a dream and are working great - my boys love them!

I bought this(supposedly) excellent product but because of the pandemic and some health issues, I didn't put it on the wall immediately. When I opened the box, it had become so warped that it would not lie flat on the floor. It was two days after the month deadline for returning it so it will most likely go into the recycling bin. How it would have warped is a mystery but I imagine that it was made where there is a lot of humidity and when it was shipped here to the desert in AZ, it simply lost all it's flexibility. I don't know. Conceptually, it's a great product. Practically, you have to install it immediately or risk the consequences. Now, I have to find someone to find the studs behind the wallboard in my office and try to install it on the studs however, it is possible that it will not work and just go into the blue bin. Sad and a waste of US$30+

This is a very swell made board. The pin aren't really hard to push in, but they stay in and go all the way in.

Like a "2x4", the dimensions of the cork board are less than 48" x 36", about an inch less on each side. We had to cut our map to fit the corkboard. That being known, now, the cork itself is about 1/2 inch thick which is great. The screw holes on the corners work well.

it would be a nice cork board. i left it in the package for about a week before opening it when i got to my dorm. i had it propped up against the wall and when i finally opened it it was completely warped. i can’t even hang it up, i’m going to have to throw it away. put it up right away if you choose to get this one, but honestly just put your money towards a better one.

This is the first time I’m writing a bad review but I have to say this product would have been amazing if I didn’t receive a damaged product... very unexceptionable. :( I also did not receive screws, dry wall anchors and caps. I am kindly asking if you can help me figure out options whether I can receive a new one or if I should return it (plastic still intact)... was really looking forward to this item please help me out.

tried to shop locally, but could not find ... simple bulletin board (inexpensive) with nice black border ... easy to put up
