I appreciate this book, the anecdotes and recipes. However, if you've ever read the book So Red the Nose, or Breath in the Afternoon from 1935, you would know that this idea was copied from these authors/illustrators.

This book has a lot of interesting stories and great drink recipes. Rather than putting it away I keep it on the coffee table. When we have guest over they like flipping through it.

This is the cutest little book. Some many helpful recipes and fun little tidbits. Would make a fun gift for a reader/drinker.

If you've ever had a drink, or read anything about any of these writers, this is a great, fun read/conversational piece. The art work is fantastic and comical and i really loved this!

Thoroughly enjoy this, great for dinner parties. Prepare a little cocktail and have a story and excerpt to go with it. Perfect for those who love literature almost as they love drinking, are the two interchangeable? ;)
