Still holding up
My 17 year old son wanted these. Why, I don't know. They look impossible to do, but then so did the Rip Stick Mini which he mastered. He's much better at this but it's tricky to master. They are excellent quality and have held up well. I advise not to buy as a gift unless you're really sure the person has the discipline to do it. They require a lot of coordination.

12 year old loves them
Super cool, my son picked up ripsticking at age four and never really loved skateboarding as much. He tells me he likes these just as much and though he was able to skate pretty quickly he likes that it’s still challenging to do tricks. The rubber wheels I guess are very important. Good value for money. He has a dragin board also that he likes, but he goes faster and can do more tricks with these.

Great freeskates to learn on
The media could not be loaded. I highly recommend these freeskates. If you are cautiously curious about the sport and don't want to invest just yet in JMKs, I think these are a worthy option. I've never ridden JMKs, so I can't really compare, but I know they are pretty much the standard. I would guess these probably are upper midrange in quality compared to those. I previously purchased a brand that were cheaper than these, but these were so much better. I am really progressing quicker on these. The video shows my progress after about 20 days or so. They definitely are challenging to learn but are fun and a great workout.

First impressions... 10/10 for quality and price
They look just like in the picture. Quality is superb for the price, from the plate, truck, wheels, and bearings. Full disclosure, I actually have the JMK skates already, and I love them. However, when I saw these, which are the first actual replica I've seen, and at this price? I just had to get a pair to beat up learning tricks on and compare to my JMK's. Okay, so the low down, is the tires are the same size, almost a carbon copy, and the bearings are fast out of the box. The tire rubber is definitely not the same. They're more slippery, if that makes sense? Not as grippy on hardwood which is what I'm scooting around on right now. Haven't taken them on the pavement yet, but we'll see how they hold up. Based on other reviews, I'm sure they'll do just fine. They look like they'd measure a bit lower to the ground than JMK but they're the same size. The grip pad is kinda weak sauce, but decent enough, and easily upgradable when the time comes. This model is still using the lock-nut method, but it comes with a pretty nice wrench to change out tires and bearings. And they put a washer between the truck and pad? Bravo! I'd say best free skates on Amazon I've seen. And way better to learn on than square wheels. The colored wheels is a real bonus too, I really like the look.

Cheap alternative to the real thing
I wanted to try free skates but didn't want to dump alot of money into it until I tried it. It was fun once you get your balance. I prefer these over the expensive ones

happy with purchase
there is a brand quite a bit more expensive. i can’t really imagine them being much better. these roll smoothly. wheels seem good quality. i didn’t get any protectors for them and i'm glad about that. i learned to to it. took about a month practicing every day. i think on flat cement i could keep it going.

Best budge skates
Great beginner skates, hard to learn definitely watch some JMK YouTube videos. Learning to free skate was the most rewarding thing I have done. Would highly recommend.

Nice skates, terrible bearings.
Decent entry level skate for beginners. As soon as you get your balance though expect to have to replace the bearings. These come with the absolute worst bearings I have seen. Replaced them with bones reds and now the wheels spin like they should.
