great product
I picked up this Milwaukee M18 FUEL hammer drill recently for some heavy-duty projects around the garage and house — and man, it’s been a game-changer. Last weekend I was drilling into concrete to mount a heavy shelf near the pool area. I grabbed the hammer drill, slipped on the masonry bit, and the drill powered through like butter. The impact was strong, the bit held steady, and even after 20 solid minutes of drilling the motor didn’t bog down or overheat. What impressed me most was how smooth and controlled the tool felt. Even though I was drilling deep holes into concrete, there was minimal kickback, and the handle grip stayed comfortable — which helped a lot on longer jobs. Once done, the shelf was anchored solid; no wobble, no cracking, and I knew the job would last. Another moment: hanging a heavy outdoor light on a masonry wall. Drill + proper fixture = straightforward job, no extra helpers needed. The power and portability of the M18 FUEL meant I didn’t need a corded drill or bulky compressor — just one battery, and I was good. If you do serious DIY, remodeling, masonry, or heavy-duty mounting jobs: this hammer drill/driver is worth every penny. Solid, powerful, reliable — it feels like a pro-grade tool even for home use.

Works great, functions as it should. Has held up well. Couldn't have gotten a better drill for the price. Not heavy and can be used all day.

Heavy Duty, full of torque and comfortable to work with
The M18 Fuel line is excellent. The torque on the drill has met every challenge I have given it. It is very comfortable to use. The variable speeds make working on any project easy. I like feeling confident knowing that the job I am doing is supported by the Milwaukee team.

Compact power.
The Milwaukee M18 hammer drill driver is well built and feels very comfortable to use in all positions. So far the refurbished option was a good find.

Somethings... different.
I bought this thinking my previous one was lost. Having both, and even though I keep thinking my old one is showing its age, I still go to my old one over this new one. It's like this new one just gets into a 'modern' mood and doesn't want to push itself as hard where the old one has grit and wants try harder. I guess its just safety features. Maybe batteries capable of more amperage delivery are what I need. Maybe it needs words of encouragement.
