Works!
The office dog was anxious and began to be somewhat unpredictable so I'd spray my lower legs and wrists before walking in and he'd check me out and then chill out. I don't wiyth there anymore so now I use it on myself because, why not? I need to chill out and natural methods are the best with no ugly side effects.

Effectiveness depends on the dog ..and an update
Update 5/2016: Since I purchased my first bottle, I had another very reactive dog. This worked so well on him! I had a little left in my first bottle, but had forgotten about it. A few days after he came into the home, I remembered and tried it. I was a night and day difference and I purchased another bottle. I may purchase another... I wish it was selling for less than $15, since I use it twice a day, though.First review a few years ago... I have a few min pins. They are all skittish and for lack of a better word, freaks. I have one puppymill min pin that this doesn't seem to change any, but I've noticed a difference in the two that aren't as reactive, but are freaks nonetheless. Also, it smells wonderful! :)

I admit, I was skeptical
Our 9-year-old shih-tzu/poodle mix began having separation anxiety at night even though he's slept in his crate from the day he came home with us. Nothing we tried seemed to help for more than a night. I wasn't convinced that simple aromatherapy could be effective since a pheromone spray had failed, but it was my only remaining chance to finally get off the couch. I sprayed Canine Calm in the crate, rubbed a light spritz on our dog's back before his last trip to the yard, then put him to bed. The change was immediate and, frankly, hard to believe. He still wakes up and barks a little bit some nights, but he's now able to settle himself back down like he always did and we all get a good night's sleep. The spray itself is very pleasant-smelling. It's not oily, wears away cleanly, and hasn't stained bedding or toys. You get a good amount of product for the price, and the spray bottle distributes a perfect fine mist. Canine Calm may not be the solution for every pet, but for ours it was a surprising success.

Finally, an air spray for anxiety relief!
Wanted to find a spray product instead of one my dog has to ingest, in order to help relieve her thunderstorm anxiety. Was using Rescue Remedy mouth spray as an air spray, but it contains alcohol, which I wasn't keen about. Also, I noticed that after I sprayed m dog's bed with rescue remedy, she wouldn't climb on it! Was delighted to find Canine Calm. The spray mechanism gave much better coverage than RR, which was not really designed to be used the way I was. The smell is nice & while I'm not sure of it's efficacy, I'm glad I have it in my "bag of tricks" to help my dog through the rainy season!

It workssss
I never review things, ever, but this stuff WOORRKKSSSS. I just started a new job and had to start leaving my one yr old siberian husky at home alone for 4+ hours at a time. I used to leave him in his kennel but he ripped it up and cut himself badly one day, so that was the end of that. I tried every calming spray, calming drops that my dog trainer suggested, it worked on other dogs just fine, but not for mine. I didn't know what else to do, so I ordered this stuff on a whim, and holy crap... no more chewed up stuff, no more peeing or pooping in the house while I'm away. I spray it on him, how it says to and where it says to, and I leave. When I come back I usually find him sleeping in the same spot I left him. I'm so relieved, I will be repurchasing most definitely.

Not really sure it worked
After reading different authors about what to do with a dog that suffers from separation anxiety, this product was highly recommended. I've been using on my dog for the last few months along with other things, so not sure it did help or not, but I do think at least, the combination of all, it's helping. I have a Havanese and him and I leave on our own. Let me tell you if you are planning on getting one of this kind, make sure you get two. They are GREAT dogs, very smart, sweet and loyal, but they do not like to be left alone, and being single, well, that's all I can say. Now I have a combination of things that I need to use on a daily basis and a strict routine that can't be changed without making some negative impact on his behavior. It has been a lot of work and stress but Max it's totally worth it... Great dogs!

Works like a charm!
I'm surprised, to be honest, but it really did help. Our corgi/aussie mix has really bad separation anxiety, so he barks and digs in his bed all day long while we're at work. I had tried just about everything that people told me would help him (walking him in the mornings to tire him out, playing music, putting a worn shirt in with him, the thundershirt, kong toys... everything), but nothing consistently helped. I was almost convinced nothing would work for him, but I did a little more research and came across this spray and decided to give it a try out of desperation to help him, and he hasn't barked at all while we're gone since I started using the spray. (I watch him during the day with a camera to see how he's doing.) I'm pleasantly surprised with how well this has worked for our anxious pup. I highly recommend giving it a try.

This product seems to work!
I like the fine mist and it may have a very slight scent. Not sure if it’s coincidence but the first time I used it and left my pup alone, he hadn’t disturbed anything at home while I was gone!
