I cannot seem to get my manual override to work. I've tried the up-down-up-down within 2 seconds lots, but light will only stay on for 5 min tops?

I'm having the same issue. Which timer to set to zero, 'TIME' or 'EVENING TIMER'?

how far out does it detect realistically? I want to use it on flood lights and my roof is 25 feet high. How far horizontally,and how far vertically?

Does this RAB motion sensor have manual over ride? I currently have the same sensor controlling 2 flood lights 20' high in my backyard. I need to replace it since my kids accidently hit it with a basketball and broke the mounting bracket (plastic). With my current unit, I was never able to get the manual override to work where I want the lights to stay on....they go back off after a few minutes. This sensor was already there when we bought our house 13 years ago. So the sensor is probably 15+ years old. Maybe it's old enough that it doesn't have the manual override feature?

Is it waterproof? Will rain damage it?

As long as you install it correctly rain will not be a problem. I have two of them outside exposed to the rain, and they work fine.

Can this work mounted to the bottom of eaves? I am concerned that the sensor angle may not work properly

Hi....first of all...I have tried several of these motion detectors over the years...I decided to spend a little more and do some research and get some better, more reliable ones...I got 4 of these...2 wall mounted and 2 mounted under the eaves....they are by far the best I have used....I have had them 18 months and they are extremely reliable and consistent no matter the weather....the ones under the eaves are set up to light up the driveway when I come in or when the dogs go out....they hang about 6 inches below the eaves angled slightly down....work like a charm....blow away the other ones I tried that were temperature sensitive and not consistent in detection...
