Excellent Quality, Keeps Food Hot for Hours
The Hydrapeak 25oz Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Food Jar has quickly become one of my favorite food containers. The build quality feels solid and durable, and the grey finish gives it a sleek, modern look. It’s the perfect size for soups, stews, pasta, or even cold items like fruit and salads. The insulation is impressive. my food stays hot for hours, easily lasting through a full work shift. It also keeps cold meals chilled for a long time, which makes it a versatile year-round container. The wide mouth makes it very easy to fill, eat from, and clean afterward.

Great thermos
Great thermos. Keeps soup very hot. I brought soup at home to almost a boil and immediately poured into thermos at 7am. Opened it at 12 and it was very hot. For other dishes, like macaroni and meat I first splash thermos with boiling water, then put my Mac and meat. It keeps it reasonably warm and acceptable at 12 pm. Overall I am happy and would recommend it.

Stays hot for hours
Works great! Keeps soup hot for hours. Tip: pour very hot water in first and let set for a minute. Empty then add hot soup and replace lid. 👍

Perfect for kids.
I think this is just the right size for my daughter to take lunch. She is 11. This does seem to keep the food warm long enough for her to get it to lunch time, but it’s isn’t HOT. so I think it could be a little better on that. The metal doesn’t seem thick, and maybe that’s why? I do love that it has a little handle on it. It seems like it will be fairly durable and be able to make it through some drops. It may be a little better if it had some cute designs but my daughter was happy it was pink. It is plenty easy for her to take the lid off and put back on.

Good quality insulated jar!
If you’re looking for an insulated food jar this is a good brand to use! I decided to go with the 25oz size so that it is able to fit in my daughter’s lunch box for school and still has enough space inside for her food. It keeps your food hot for 10 hours and cold for 16 hours which is so helpful and truly works. It fits meals in nicely and is easy to open for my daughter who is 6. It is hand wash only and easy to wash after use. I love the color and the handle it comes with making it easy to carry if needed. It’s still in perfect condition after daily use and looks like I just bought it. I highly recommend if anyone wants to take a hot lunch or pack a hot lunch for their child!

25 oz size gives hot soup after 5 hours, IF you keep it upright (eg contents don't touch lid)
I got the middle of the three sizes (25 oz) and measured the thermal time constant, starting with the thermos almost full of hot 89 C water. _IF_ you don't fill completely full, AND you keep it upright so the contents do not contact the inside of the lid, then you will loose half the temperature difference in every 4hr 45min time period. So, if you start with boiling (100C = 212 F) and it sits at room temperature around 21 C = 70 F, then after 4 hr 45 minutes, you lose half the temperature difference or about 40 C, so the contents will end up at 60 C = 140 F which is considered a good serving temperature for hot soup. So if your soup was boiling at 7:15 am, it should be the right temp at noon time. The body of this flask is only 5 mm thick, but the vacuum insulation works well. By contrast, the wide lid is simply plastic with some foam inside and it does not insulate so well, so if you store this sideways or inverted you will lose heat faster. The seal is formed by a thin silicone gasket around the top rim of the lid. It sealed fine for me as new, with clean threads. If you get that surface gunked up, and/or don't carefully thread on the lid and close it tightly, then no doubt it will leak. The smaller 18 oz size will not hold heat as long, while the larger 32 oz size can do better (IF it's filled full).
