I live this. I purchased this for my sons memorial shelf and am glad I did. It is very beautiful and is solid. I was not expecting it to be as big as it is but that is not an issue for me.

My now-husband and I purchased this chalice for our wedding communion ceremony. It technically is not food safe, so we just put the wine/juice in a pitcher until we were ready to drink from the cup so it wasn't sitting in a non-food safe container for a long time. It worked and looked great!

Chalice was a lot bigger than anticipated, heavy weight and served it's purpose. Absolutely loved it!
