I bought for my quail so I don’t cull the wrong ones and can keep track. The colors and numbers are great for adding to a system to keep track of size, color and egg. A couple of my quail have been able to get them off but I would buy again

They fall off so a zip tie has to also be applied to number quail and color code.

I thought these looked a little more pink in the images, but they are in fact very red and bright blue. They are 8mm, easy to close though a bit tricky to re-open (helps if you slide it open, not pry it open), and fit both my jumbo and regular coturnix quail well. These will likely NOT fit button quail at all, too big. My coturnix threw a fit when we put them on put the foot rings on but they're fine with them once they're on. I'm using to ID males and females.

These are great to band those birds that aren't feather sexable to know male and female, the non-blue band is red (or mine was) when they arrived and not the more pinkish color I saw in photos. However for the cost of $14 for 200 that is quite a bit when I found others for under $10 for 200 or more and it came with more colors on the bands too. Fairly easy to place but a little annoying to remove but once on I wouldn't be taking them off again unless the bird was dispatched.

Easy to use and fits perfectly fine for quail. No punching and quick, less stress on the birds.

They work as intended, but might be a hair to big for Quail. I have had some fall off.

Don’t list quail if it doesn’t actually fit quail. Not a single one stayed on the jumbo quail.
