Allersoft| All Cotton Dust, Pet Dander, Feather, Pollen & Allergy Control Duvet Protector (90x90)

This cover works perfectly with my queen sized duvet. Do be careful of what size you're ordering, look at the actual dimensions! This cover is a very tight weave cotton, it is deceptive, as it doesn't look that heavy when you open it, but it definitely needs a full sized washer, even for the smaller sizes. For reference, I can wash my very heavy linen duvet cover in my apartment sized washer with no problems, but I struggled with this one and had to wash it twice, and in the future will be using a different washer for it. The texture is crisp, and not very soft, but that may change after multiple washes. Since this is meant to be inside another cover, it isn't an issue, and lends some structure to lightweight covers. I have a severe dust allergy, feather products collect a lot of dust that isn't easily remedied, but this cover stops any existing dust from getting to me, and prevents additional dust from accumulating inside the duvet. I haven't had any allergy or asthma related issues since I put this on the bed. The inner and outer ties are perfect, and I do not find that my duvet slides around inside this at all, and since the cover isn't silky, it holds onto the outer cover as well. This cover would even work well as a single solution, without an outer cover, but since I have pets, I'll be sticking to using it inside a decorative cover that washes the easier. After using this product for a few weeks, I plan to purchase these for my family for Xmas.

Really high quality, tight weave fabric. I wanted an interior cover for my down comforter to keep micro feathers from falling out. I kept finding tiny down shed on my nightstand in the morning. This cover has stopped all shedding. I read the reviews before buying and wasn't sure I was going to like it because people mentioned that it's heavy and loud. Both are true - however, the weight feels like quality you'd find in a high-end hotel and I didn't notice the increased weight once the duvet was actually on my comforter and spread out. The fabric is not quiet, but again reminds me of quality and did not bother me. It's so tightly woven that I think the noise is that air can't move through even though it's only cotton. The cover has ties on the inside as well as loops on the outside so you can use this as an interior cover and put your decorative duvet cover over it. I ended up liking this interior cover enough that I put my nice outer cover away for awhile and am using just this on the bed.

I didn’t think that I would like it out of the box. But after washing it, it became softer and pliable. It’s great quality and nice weight. And my sleep quality has improved so much since switching from polyester duvet cover to this cotton cover. No more static electricity too! Minus 1 star for crinkly loudness

Purchased this to keep the down and feathers contained. It works great. Also chose this one because it has the tie on the inside and outside so it can be placed in a duvet cover. It does not add noticeable weight and the noise is minimal imo. Only complaint would be there are only 4 ties on the corners so it shifts some but a lot of duvet covers are like that...overall a great purchase. No more allergies

Product is fine and sized as advertised. However, the inside only has 3 sets of string to tie to the insert, making one side not anchored in at all.

Fit my comforter well, seems a good weight and quality. Hopefully will keep all the feathers in!

I waited over a week for this to be delivered and the wait was worth it! I have a queen size down comforter, which I love but over the years it’s been losing feathers everywhere. And it has caused allergy problems for me. Upon receiving this, I quickly washed and dried it, put it on my comforter, and put my duvet cover over it. I have not noticed any feathers or dander coming out of my comforter. I will note that this cover is thicker which made my comforter a little heavier, but I love this blanket and I will not throw it out. Now with this anti allergy cover, I don’t have to worry about that!

I love that this duvet cover is an allergy barrier. I have been using Mission Allergy duvets for years, but their filling tends to flatten out and clump. So I bought an ordinary duvet, which I like, and bought the Allersoft cover to deal with the dust mites etc. However, the Allersoft material is stiff, and the cover makes more noise than one might like. So I placed a cotton duvet cover over the Allersoft cover. That solved all the issues with stiffness and sound! I love this solution, and I am very greatful to Allersoft for this product! The whole solution is much less expensive than buying a Mission Allergy comforter that starts to clump and flatten out in a couple of years.

This cover is definitely feather proof! I had a featherbed that I almost got rid of because of its pokey feathers. This cover has solved my problem! It has made my bed so pleasant to sleep on with its fresh, crisp feel of good cotton over my fluffy featherbed! So grateful to have found it! Kudos to the makers of this special fabric!

It may do the job of protecting against allergies etc but it was heavier weight than the duvet I put inside it. Not to my liking. Amazon please bring back the Pinzon label for the duvet protector.
