The overall seems to be pretty good and I like the slections
The book is okay but I feel it's not for level one beginners but more so for level two beginners. I guess it depends on what you consider level one material. As of right now, I cannot play too many of the songs in this level and will need more time training in other things with my music teacher before i can start in this. The overall seems to be pretty good and I like the slections. I personally feel it should be level two and not level one, but this is just my opinion. If there are others that agree with me about this being a little too difficult, I suggest you please try Keith Snell Piano Repertoire instead for a level one books.

Useful, but not enough songs for the price
Interesting and useful piano studies to practice various techniques. The book seemed quite short for the price -- older editions included more songs.
