Latex Resist
This resist works well on bisque.

Using as latex resist
First, I'm not an expert at using latex resist. I usually use wax resist, but liked the idea I could peel this off so I didn't have to burn off the wax for some techniques. So far I've been a little disappointed, but I don't know if it's the latex or not. I used it over underglaze but when I peeled it off, it did take off some of the underglaze. This might be due to the thickness I put it on - thick, it is very strong! I used it on the bottoms of some bowls, but then when I put it too thin it was hard to peel off. There could be an in between with more practice. It is also possible it works better with other resist techniques. Either way, this latex was way cheaper than you can buy from ceramic supply. It's really stinky, that's for sure, so I would use some ventilation.

Works perfectly
Though it smells to high heaven, the color makes it easy to see and use, and the easy and smooth peelability of the product allows one to correct errors quickly by peeling and trying again.

A bit too thin in my opinion, needs multiple coats
This resist in my opinion was too thin and required multiple coats. Also, if I didn't get full coverage with each coat, there was more of a likelihood that a bit of the resist was not removed and left an unglazed section, which required a refiring. Probably would work better on a flat surface.

Good wax for pottery
I really like the quality of this wax. I use it to resist glaze when I paint on mugs. So, I put two coats over the painted drawing, then dip in my glaze. If I let it dry completely, the glaze just runs away from the area it is applied to.

Good to know before you use it.
I used a bottle to squirt the product onto my bisque piece because someone was kind enough to say don't use a brush. Now I would like to return the favour: You know it is ready to use when the product turns from pink to red. It sticks and easily removes. This little thing makes my painting so much easier. Expensive but great to use.

Works very well
This is a great resist option. It goes on super smooth and easy, peel off beautifully. Kind of ruins the brush though so I use cheap bulk brushes to put it on. enough for a lifetime.

Sort of ok
This works ok, but it doesn’t come out of crevices is they are a small design. Also it stinks horrible
