This is not the strongest stimulator nor is its distance impressive BUT it does work when used correctly. I have trained 3 different dogs with this (Australian Shephard, Pitbull/Bulldog mix and Lab) and have had great success. This does not come with instructions so I would highly recommend you getting training on how to properly use this tool before introducing it to your pet for it could do more physical and emotional harm than good. Overall I would recommend for an entry level stim tool.

It worked very well. I used it to control my maniac dog which very aggressive with stranger. The beep, buzz and shock provide 3 levels of control. My dog learned to stop his bad behavior when the beep and buzz are emitted. I only used the shock when he is completely in his crazy mode. One shock does stop his craziness.It lasted over a year now. the LED on the unit is dead but the device still works.

Loved it but it only worked for 1.5 years. Product should last longer than that.

This collar is quite nice. It comes with 2 different sets of prongs, one for shirt haired breeds, the other for long. The collar it comes with is large enough for a rottweiler but also trimmable for smaller breeds like my aussie. There is a The handheld shock transmitter is very convenient. I keep mine in my pocket where it's easily accessible. Whenever my pet starts to bark like crazy I give him a verbal warning. Then if he doesn't shut up I click the button. He generally shuts up right away.

I love my little dogies very much! They are my family. But the constant barking has become a problem. I am following the guidelines and used the beep and shake most of the time. The first time I had to shock my little baby was harder on me than her. But I think she is learning when I say NO BARK.. she knows what I mean now. My only comment is I would encourage everyone to not use the shock unless absolutely necessary.

it worked just as described. I set the shock on 5 and tried it on my arm. It was not painful but got my attention. The tone and vibrate mode gets his attention and if we continue to work with him he should learn to obey.I did read in a review that the part that goes on the pets neck rattles. Yes, it has a mechanism in it to detect when the pet moves and automatically turns the thing on.

I am very pleased with this product. I charged it overnight right when we got it and used it the next day. My husband used it on his arm first to see what it felt like and only had it at 4 and it was powerful. Happy to say I let her out in the backyard without a leash and she listened after I told her to come with just the beep. Def worth it!

This is a great training tool. It has three levels to choose from, vibrate, noise and static. The collar works up to 500 yards away so you can always correct when needed.I use the noise option the most, and it does work. Once the beep is heard, along with a command, our German Shepard corrects himself.I got everything I need to start pretty quickly!
