Fit and works good, no issues.

Fuel pump did not work on a 2004 Mercury 50HP 2-stroke outboard. Appears it did NOT pump any fuel. Motor would starve and run out of fuel within a few minutes. Disassembled and inspected twice, same result. Cleaned my original fuel pump that was contaminated with ethanol chunks from using poor fuel.Reinstalled my original pump and motor ran fine. Did not even attempt a return as I had disassembled the pump and also had thrown away the original packaging. Wrote it off as a learning experience. Unsure of the reason the pump did not work- Noted the inlet/outlet diaphragms in the new pump were made of much thicker material. Not nearly as pliable as the originals. Anyway several days of grief chasing this problem down. Bottom line- buy OEM when possible.

After botching an OEM fuel pump rebuild I installed this in my 2005 50 hp ELPTO with no issues.My OEM one installed with 4 bolts and this one uses the 2 open holes. The pre installed bolts are a smaller diameter and barely poke out, but not an issue. It would be nice if this came with or linked to the gasket that sits behind it.

The part fit correctly, but the pump is too weak for my EFI outboard. This was fully my fault, but the pump worked as it should. The seller is great 👍

Came all put together just needed to use the 2 long bolts . Easy fix

Looks and fits really well but it didn’t perform well at all..engine would run great for a few moments then the pump couldn’t keep up. Motor stalled..replaced with oem and haven’t had a problem

We bought a car part which can be a pain if the numbers don't match up ect. But it all went well and the job was made easier peasie!

I installed this on my 1999 90 hp Mercury 2 stroke. It works but I have other (likely unrelated) engine problems.

Vacuum hose is a different size to oem fitting on my mariner 90 2 stroke, it’s 6mm id on fuel pump and an 8mm id on vacuum side of engine. Pretty useless unless you get a reducer for the hose.

It did not fit my Mercury outboard and I returned.

Was looking forward to this part coming and fitting it to the engine so I could get out on the water, but unfortunately when I opened the package I found a chip at the top of the fuel outlet connection and a cracked down the entire length of the connection tube. This is useless in this condition and I feel as though I've wasted my time and money buying an alternative to oem. To add to this I don't have a printer to print out a label so it can be collected for return. I feel as though this too is a tactic to make returns difficult.
