Easy to install and fit well. Replaced the 2yr old junk a-arms with failed ball joints. We will see how long these last.

Needs washers to safely fit 1999 Honda Civic
It fits but there's a caveat:The castle nut, when tightened, goes on past the hole in the stud. So, a cotter pin through that hole does not pass through the "towers" of the castle. So, the cotter pin cannot prevent the castle nut from coming loose. Torquing the nut to spec should prevent it from loosening, but the added safety of the castle nut-and-cotter pin interface is lacking.A DIY workaround is to put a strong thick washer on the stud, then the castle nut. That is on my to-do soon list. (Maybe on some cars the hole is in the right place. But not on mine. The Amazon description says it does fit my car. That is a misleading statement.)The arms come with no instructions or suggestions. The possible need for washers should be noted. Also, there is no indication of which is right and which is left. The 2 arms each bear a different part number, and some web research was needed to tell which is which. Is there really any difference? None that I could see.In 210,000 miles my car has worn out its OEM upper control arm ball joints and 2 pairs of Moog replacements. (It's easier to DIY replace the whole control arm that includes its ball joint, than to try replacing only the ball joint.) Time will tell how well these less expensive ones do.
