The filo dough was good, but the filler was too salty
Arrived well packed, but the pieces are smaller than other spanakopita such as that my Greek girlfriend, or other frozen suppliers make. The filo dough was good, but the filler was too salty. Since they are smaller, and the corners have doubled up filo, the pieces end up tasting like a salty wad of filo dough. Perhaps what I received was a one-time unfortunate batch. But since you can buy a 48 piece frozen box (with larger pieces) that is better, at Costco or Sam's for about $15 , I'll be going with that.
