I am sorry I can't help you, I have always looked on the old refill for numbers words etc, to get to new one, unless you go to the store you are better keeping to wait you know fits.

Could you please provide the refill dimensions, not the package dimensions. i.e. length of main body, length of tip and diameter of body.

My pen has run out & the refill had number 1217, but i cannot find this anywhere on here. Is there another number of refill that will fit please?

Look for what the other number is, I think the 1217 is some sort of model or batch number. The one in my pen is 1219 but the refills are 0220, but the type of refill is 8523. If your refill is this then I think it'll be fine.
