Hacker by Malorie Blackman tells the story of Victoria Gibson, a girl adopted into the Gibson family when her parents died. Her adoptive father is accused of attempting to steal one million pounds from the bank he works at. Victoria doesn't believe that he is guilty and so ,using her advanced hacking and programming skills, begins to solve the mystery of who framed her father and why, along with her brother Gibson and his friend Chaucy.Hacker is a brilliant page Turner, so much so that I read the whole book in a few hours without putting it down. It is a great read, a great mystery and I enjoyed it so much that I didn't want it to end.

I read ANTIDOTE before this book and it was amazing. It was one of the best books I'd ever read...EVER. Now I've finished reading this book, I'm not so sure which one is better. I finished reading this book in 3 days flat just like I did with ANTIDOTE. I was absorbed in (that's why I've rated this 5 stars). Anyone who loves reading Malorie Blackman's books (like me) will also love this book. The best bit is from the end of chapter 8 and through chapter 9. I hope you loved reading this as much as I did.

I would recommend this book to 11 yr olds but to any age group really. A fun and good plot. If you like surprises then this book is just for you. A fantastic book written by a fantastic author! (Silvia Sanchez-Arias, 11 years old)

My Son in year 6 has never been a great reader. He finished this book which is the first book he has ever read willingly from beginning to end. I was happy to listen to him read this and enjoyed the book just as much as he did. He read ANTIDOTE next which is equally great. I have now downloaded Below Zero by Dan Smith as it is on the schools recommended reading list. Ill give a review once finished.I highly recommend this author as she has managed to give my son a like (love is probably pushing it a bit far) for reading.We downloaded the Kindle version of the books. This enabled my son to look up on Google any word that he wasn't sure of the meaning of. With a paperback book he wouldn't have bothered doing this. His vocabulary has always been good for his age and its even better now!

I chose this rating because the book is quality. It was worth the price. The thing that I liked is that it will make you feel like you are there watching everything that is happening. The thing that I didn't like was that it didn't include much background information like what happened to Maggie or what happened to Aunt Beth and Sebastian. I would recommend this book to anyone who can read it. I was captured in the steady pace of the book. In my opinion Victoria could be a little less emotional but I guess everyone is emotional and a little touchy at that age. I think that this book is a little too BORING an easily read for children 12 or older but when I'm older I'll still read it . Definitely a modern day classic.

Well written (again) with believable characters, this story pulls you in and takes you on a journey through the twists and turns of this modern day kids beat grown ups story. A daughter uses her computer skills to uncover the plot to frame her father for theft and finally proves the guilt of the real culprit. Worth a read.

Malorie Blackman is an amazing author and it is the second time I’ve read this book. I can’t wait to discover more of her books. I am looking forward to reading “Thief” and “Antidote”. My tutor recommended this book and I now recommend it to readers who like suspense and mystery.

Thrilling. I just couldn't put it down. Blackman really knows how to make her books catching with all of the description.

My daughter's class teacher recommended this author. Our daughter said Pig Heart Boy was okay but Hacker was worth reading twice.

This book is one of the best books I ever read. I felt like it was actually happening in front of me, I was able to imagine it really.This is a very interesting book and I'd say that it must be read by everyone
