A. Review
The Max Mini Bike Pump is actually a white label product, also known as the Airwave Surge amongst others. They seem to generally sell for about Amazon prices, but it's an extra chance to shop around and read a greater variety of reviews if nothing else. What a marvellous little product this is, how often do you buy something for a budget price without any indication you've done so? It works perfectly, feels tough, looks good, and is almost comically small and lightweight. Pumping is obviously no thirty-second job, but it seems to make surprisingly efficient work of the task and is easy to use even if the wheel is still on the bike, unlike some. I don't have a PSI gauge, the exception of which may be an issue to some, but on a mountain bike I had no issue using it to get the tyres as solid as I'm happy with. While it may be labelled, and sold, as a mini bike pump, it's absolutely worthy as an all-rounder and those who don't place themselves in the upper end of cycling may find this services all your needs just fine. (The instructions could have been dashed out on the back of a napkin by someone who'd never seen the pump before, but if you're reading this then it's not a problem. I've added a photo to clarify the information given, which concerns how to switch to a Presta valve pump.) UPDATE 7TH APRIL 2015: The last part of my comment now makes no sense, as the instructions using Amazon's "hover boxes" that I made have disappeared from the gallery and been replaced with a professional version by the manufacturers. Glad they were on the ball, but silently blitzing my effort from the record and making me look silly is annoying. I've now removed my version is from this comment too. I don't have anything to add in terms of reliability as I have rarely used it, however I did require a pump for a basketball and while most pumps allow an adaptor, this one does not. Spending double and cluttering with another pump was not productive. Otherwise, if it fits your needs, nothing has made me change my rating.

Compact well made bike air pump.
Great little bike air pump can be used with presta or schrader car type valves . fits nicely into saddle bags and seems well constructed in alloy and plastic . I can blow up a mountain bike tyre from flat in approx 30 to 45 seconds.

Great little pump that you can easily take anywhere!
So far so good! I have recently began cycling as a hobby, therefore I am no expert. However as a beginner bit of kit this pump is great! Upon getting my bike and taking up cycling I did a bit of research to see the sort of kit I would be needing and a portable pump was one of the top of the list, for the obvious reasons, if you get a flat whilst your out and about. I took to amazon and the VeloChampion Alloy 9 Mini Bike Pump came up the top, and with good reviews i thought why not! For its price its a great bit of kit! VeloChampion seems to be a good brand name for cheap but decent kit and this pump lives up to it. I have so far only had to use it once however it worked great and I am sure I can rely on it for future occurrences The pump comes with a small mount allowing it to easily be attached to the bike, I shall add an image of how this can be done..you simply use one of the bottle mount things (As mentioned, new to cycling, but the 2 screw bits of the bike) and it screws securely into place, the pump can then be slotted in and out of the mount whenever needed and it seems to stay in place across all terrain. The pump is mounted slightly off center and it is handy to take off if leaving your bike locked up to avoid it being stolen! The pump includes a handy pressure indicator that you can use to ensure your tire is up to your desired pressure and I believe the pump can take your tire right up to 100psi, which I believe is plenty for most cyclists even if its just go get home. The pump is a light bit of kit with the mount weighing next to nothing so you wont be noticing it affecting your ride. I got the pump for just under £10 which seemed a bargain, overall I think that the pump is well built, and comes from a well named brand. It is available at a good price and an essential bit of kit for newer riders or more experienced to take on longer rides! Great pump and worth the money!

"Compact, Lightweight, and High-Quality Pump – Perfect for Cyclists!"
"I recently purchased this bicycle pump, and I couldn't be happier with the product! It’s incredibly lightweight and compact, making it super easy to carry on rides without adding any extra bulk. The build quality feels premium and durable, so I’m confident it will last for a long time. It’s also simple to use, which is great when you need to quickly pump your tires. Overall, a fantastic pump that is both practical and well-made. Highly recommend it for cyclists looking for a reliable, portable solution!"

For A$26.95, I'd say it's well worth what I paid. The cheapest compact pump you can find in a bike store where I'm from is maybe A$50. It seems to be built fairly solid, but the all-plastic lever at the back does not exactly evoke longevity. Definitely seems like it will withstand normal use. I should note that when switching between valve types, it can be a little tricky. When I first unscrewed the main cover, it looked like the inner pieces could not come out, but I managed to use the ball inflator adapter to pry them out, which is a bit of a hassle but manageable if you're only doing it once or a few times. Pros: - Cheap - Relatively efficient compared to ones I've tried before - Minimal leakage - Comes with extra attachments and a frame mount Cons: - Must be partially disassembled to switch between valve types - Mostly plastic - may become brittle if exposed to the sun for a long period of time - Takes a good few pumps to inflate a tire, be prepared for a workout

This is a useless piece of equipment. It lets air out as much as in. Very frustrating and not worth half the price.
