Absolutely perfect for running cables for dash cams and all sorts of other applications!
After recently purchasing a dash cam which rather generously came with just four cable clips, I decided to look for more cable clips to make the installation of the dash cam into my car far more tidy than the four clips would allow, and decided to go for these ones as they were very well reviewed and seemed to be well-suited to the task at hand.>>>>>>PLENTY TO GO AROUNDSee how I skipped my usual first category of 'what's in the box?' Well, there's a good reason for that because this box, as expected, contains some cable clips. Twenty of them, in fact - along with twenty sticky pads to attach them with.>>>>>>WHAT ARE THE CLIPS LIKE?Well, I have to admit that they're a bit larger than I expected them to be, but that wasn't too much of a problem as I intended on using them sparingly. They're pretty tough feeling clips, though and the included sticky pads were, according to the reviews, ridiculously strong.>>>>>>LET'S GET STICKIN'!The first thing you'll need to busy yourself with when you receive these clips is the process of sticking the sticky pads onto the flat bottom of each of the clips. It's not a problem, though, as the pads are cut so that they fit the clips perfectly.>>>>>>THE TASK AT HANDWhen I had a spare few minutes, I decided to tackle the task of plumbing the dash cam into my car and plotted the route that I wanted the cable to take from the camera to the cigarette lighter socket and ran it along the top and left sides of my windscreen, down the unseen bit between the left edge of the dashboard and the passenger door, along the bottom of the dash, along the console and eventually to a point near the cigarette lighter socket. Using the clips sparingly, I was able to hide the cable as well as possible.Just as legends (or at least the other reviews that I read) foretold, the sticky pads on these clips are indeed rather amazing so it's important to know exactly where you're going to put them before peeling the tape off them and putting it in-place. If you're quick enough and haven't pushed it in place too hard, it's possible to pull it off again without too much of a problem, but if it's been fully pushed in you will have a battle getting it off! It also has to be said that the tape covering the pads if an absolute pain to get off, so a modicum of patience is recommended.>>>>>>SUMMING UPThere's not much else to say that I've not said already. These are brilliant clips that could be used in all sorts of situations to hold cables in place and tidy them out of the way. Recommended!

Stick fast, hold tight.
I wanted these to replace the rubber 'button' type cable clips (from a different supplier) I fitted some 18 months ago in the car to hold the cable from my TomTom SatNav. A very hot day we had recently caused the button ones to come adrift and they would not re-attach. Spotting these they sounded to be a good product with a strong adhesive and so thought to give them a try. They are much neater than the button ones as, holding the cable along their length, they are not quite so obvious. They will hold a far thicker cable than that for a SatNav but they successfully anchor the cable holding it where you want it. Obviously I have only had them in the car for a couple of days and it remains to be seen how they cope with hot weather if we ever get any again! Given that the adhesive pads are genuine 3M double sided ones, I have high hopes that they will perform. Well packaged in a clip fastening box, these appear very well made. The adhesive pads are separate within the box and the instructions for fitting are very clear. It is difficult to remove the backing tape from the pad at the point of fitting the clip into place unless you follow the excellent instructions which the seller will e-mail you in response to your order. I used the sharpened tip of a pencil as instructed and had no problem. Out of curiosity I tried to remove the backing on the first one using my finger nail and failed totally. Can't quite believe that I can be so enthusiastic over a cable clip but I am really pleased with this product and its supplier. Happy to recommend.

My way of installing cable-clips to route cable from my DashCam to a CHGeek cigar lighter adaptor.
A good product and easy to install. I used them to route the cable from Drivepro 200, positioned behind my rear view mirror on my Mercedes, to my CHGeek cigar lighter adaptor.I suggest the clips are installed in the following way, it worked well for me.Using an alcohol wipe, clean the area where the cable clip is to be fitted and allow a couple of minutes to dry. Remove a self adhesive strip and apply it the clip’s mating surface applying firm pressure to make the joint. Using a new Stanley knife blade, cut across the width of the adhesive pad sufficient to get through the red strip only. Then, using the blade’s point, ease one side of the red plastic cover from the strip peeling it off lengthwise. Repeat for the remaining red protector. Using firm pressure, fit the clip to its location.Hints: use the Stanley blade very, very carefully, it is sharp, best to have a plastic tray to put it in when not using it during assembly, the tray acts also as a rubbish bin.Keep sweaty fingers away away from mating surfaces where the adhesive strip fits.Use sufficient number of clips to prevent the cable from hanging down, you want a nice looking cable lay as invisible as possible. Take your time about selecting the best cable route.Good luck.

Definitely one of the better ones on Amazon. However, a small issue with the adhesive pad.
There are many similar products on Amazon with mixed reviews. I bought this one as this is the only product with a 4.5+ star rating. The item came in a neat little plastic box, which contains 20 plastic clips in black and 3M double sided adhesive pads. I bought this item to tidy up the dashcam cables in my car. The clips are larger than I initially thought, which is capable of holding multiple cables. It can be loose if you are only tidying up 1 single USB cable. Though when you run the cable through multiple clips it won't be an issue at all. It is small and discreet enough that it won't ruin the car interior. The only issue I had was the 2 sided 3M adhesive pad. I had no issue taking the pad off the strips (to stick it onto the clipper). However, the protection cover for the surface side was so hard to remove, given how small it is (Another reviewer below also mentioned this issue). Because the padding is soft like a sponge, when you try to remove the protector, the padding will go with the protector, rather than peel off like it should be. It can be quite annoying when you work with multiple clips. I'd suggest try using a knife to peel it.Other than that, great product.
