I love the size, colors, and storage options for these maps. They fold like real maps for easy storage, yet are sturdy and lightweight enough to easily hang on the wall. The variety of learning options was a happy surprise. I especially love that I can use them as illustrative teaching tools, yet they are easy enough to use that the kids enjoy them during free play as well. I've had them up for several months and they still get used every day. I'm extremely happy with this product and the learning opportunities it offers.

I purchased this over the leapfrog globe because it has the Spanish option. For me, that was well worth it and made it stand out against similar toys because it has the Spanish option. But we love all of the other features, too. My son loves all of the interesting and funny facts, the games and the national anthems. He has had a lot of fun recording his voice with the stickers, too. I like the large size and that it can be folded up into a small box to put away.Improvements I would suggest is to offer a “repeat” button because sometimes we didn’t hear something well or we forgot the second or third country or state in the third level game. Overall it is a great toy and good value for the price!

Has been keeping my 5 year old busy and more interested than being on Ipad. At his age he knows more countriee, flags and capitals than me. Worth the money!

My son is really into maps, so we bought him this for Christmas. I'm not sure where the "paper-thin" reviews came from, but it's more of a plastic mat and definitely durable. Easy to clean too!My son really enjoys being able to hear the names of different countries, as well as the sounds with the different interactive features such as boats, birds and sea animals. There are more features to choose from, including the capital of each country, flags and fun facts, but my son is only three and hasn't been able to appreciate these features yet.The pen works really well and I can pretty much pinpoint everywhere easily. My only issue is that the volume is on the lower side, so in a noisy house, it can be difficult to hear at times. Overall, great gift and purchase!

Great learning toy!I’ve been working to get my 3 year into continents and earth vs just planets, and it is so difficult to find toys (and videos) that aren’t geared towards older children..he cannot quite read yet, so hearing is essential.This will be a great toy for him when he’s a little older, if he were an only child it would have worked great for us now, but the pen (which is awesome, it amazed me how this little pen could touch a rubber mat and be so incredibly accurate with detail! The technology is amazing!) would have been lost quickly.For some reason I’d envisioned a hard plastic map he could play with in his crib without his brother trying to interfere — this can be laid out on the floor and folded up afterwards, (much nicer for storing) however in my situation, was hoping for something he could hide out with lol.Overall it is a very cool map, i do recommend! :)

I bought this for my sons birthday and it was a hit . He loves it and uses it every day. Its very interactive and easy to use. Has tons of information that he can explore on his own and it offers the option to be in English and in Spanish.Kids can learn in a fun way about nations' capitals, cities, populations, languages, and much more. Icons on the map will make different sounds, like animals, waves, seagulls, and so much more. On the inside of the box is a wonderful laminated keyboard that kids can use to create their own songs. Its a great product and I highly recommend it to anyone.

I bought this interactive map for my 7 year old son. He loves it! It's fun and easy to use. All you have to do is tap the pen first on the category (like fun fact, states, country) then tap anywhere on the map and the pen tells you what you clicked on. It's a fun way to learn about geography! Plus it gets my son off his Ipad, which is also an added bonus!
