A: Not flexible enough to survive being dropped, but flexible enough to give a smooth writing experience.....BTW replacement nibs are ridiculously expensive!

**Q: How long is the guarantee?**
A: 3 years according to the instruction leaflet.  looking at its constructin it should last a lifetime if looked after

**Q: Does the Pen have a screw cap**
A: Not a screw on cap, but it snaps on very tightly. I am well pleased.
