So much easier than connecting the crocodile clips!
I use the NOCO both for my car, and my boat, to keep the batteries topped up. For the car I bought the hardwired accessory, but for the boat that would have been a pain. This plugs in to the accessory 12v "cigarette" socket on my boat, and makes it so much easier to charge! No need to start opening access panels to get to the battery any more. As long as you don't isolate the battery, which you shouldn't need to do with no parasitic loads, this is the perfect accessory!

Great solution - if your car's socket is "live"
Plugged into the boot socket to trickle charger/maintain the battery especially useful during the winter months. *** The 12V socket needs to be "live" when the vehicle is locked for it to work***

bought two of these with the idea of joining them together as my car is nowhere near a plug socket to use the charger while leaving the battery in the car. I should say at this point it is a classic car and must have the battery terminals removed so just leaving the battery in place. it worked perfectly passing the cable through the window and up into where the battery is whilst leaving the charger inside where I could keep an eye on it's charging progress. would highly recommend these leads and any of the noco branded name. just do a little homework to make sure of there compatibility with the charger you are using and you'll be trouble free, excellent value for money and comes highly recommended. it gets a big 👍

Perfect.
I was very pleased with the Noco charger and the little addition saves all the trouble of getting to the battery. My wife's car has a always live cig socket so it works great there and my BMW motorcycle has a CANBUS system that needs the correct type of charger to wake up the socket. This charger connected to this plug with a motorcycle adapter fitted does the job.
