The product arrived quicklyand secure in a well protected packaging. I chose the 10ml size as it lasts a long time.It has its own dropper attached to the bottle and works well, the infection is clearing up after a couple ofdays of using these ear drops. None has proved as effective, for me personally, as Otosan natural ear drops. Otosan works well for me, but there is no miracle cure for this problem and what works for me may not be as effective for others. However, since using Otosan I have managed to treat the problem myself without having to make appointments with the GP, who then refers you to the practice nurse for syringing, but only when you have no inflammation or infection - so sometimes you are sent away with instructions to keep using olive oil or sodium bicarbonate. I stopped reading at that point when I bought themIt was only after 3 days of using these in the hopes of staving off my incoming ear infection that the pain became full blown 'half my head hurts' hell so I went back and read the entire description again from heading to comments and under the safety warning it says 'Do not use in case of lesions of the tympanum or ear canals, otitis or ear inflammations'My infection started with inflammation and got worse so I wouldn't rely on these drops to help such issues at all. My whole ear became swollen shut, hurt to touch and I could feel it from temple to neck. I finally got a doctors appt and after two days on high strength antibiotics the pain has lessened slightly, another 5 days to go.I can't actually get anything into my ear right now but once I can I think these drops will be good to keep my ear canal moistened when the post infection itch starts as the ear dries out and heals. I can see them also being good for ear wax and they smell really lovely too. I really like the fact that they're in a glass bottle with an excellent squeezey nozzle to assist in getting the drops in the right place.I'm marking them down for rubbish confusing description and although other reviews do seem to think they help with infection, in my current very painful experience I can say with conviction they did not.EDIT November 2024. I wrote this review about 18 months ago and I note they've updated the description now to be more about ear wax softening and ear care rather than promoting them for ear infection. I agree. For ear wax they certainly soften it! I now just use two drops of olive oil every morning to lubricate the ears, which does help. So to answer, did the otosan work, NO, it didn't, what it did do was make me almost totally deaf in both ears. This lead me to believe I had a lot of wax, so I bought otex ear drops with an ear syringe. The otex didn't remove any wax. I then saw some drops by canesten, called canesten solution, which id for fungal ear infections. Thinking my dry flaking ears may be caused by a fungal infection I bought some. It hasn't cured my dryness but it removed a considerable amount of wax together with the syringing. I tell you this as I think you may have ear wax, due to your noise when you tilt the head, and this is by far the best solution for clearing it. If ears are blocked they can't breath, this can cause dry ears, so it maybe your cure. My problem is psoriasis, which can't be cured, so that's why I just use olive oil daily now. I hope this helps. As for sprays, they are far easier to use than drops as you get a properly measure dose in each single spray so there's no worry about having to much or to little in the dropper.
