Hip Lamp but choose your bulb carefully!
Very hip, industrially-inspired lamp. Switch is in the cord, bulb not included. The marble-ish bottom means the lamp is secure on the table weight-wise. The cool thing about this lamp is also its downfall - there's no shade to filter the light! We got a 60W bulb and were basically blinded every time we looked over in the lamp's direction. At most you should get a 40W bulb, and ideally have a dimmer to control the amount of light. MUCH more relaxing in our reception now! But we can turn it up if we have to search for a lost lego on the floor.We got this lower wattage bulb:"Cmyk® DIMMABLE Vintage light bulb - squirrel cage filament (old fashioned Edison) E27 screw'And a dimmer function for the plug:Plugin Dimmer Switch

Some issues with assembly & details
The lamp was true to its retro vibe. It’s a statement piece on its own. However, the description here on Amazon says it’s 60watts but mine came in at ‘Max 40watts’ so the bulb that I purchased didn’t fit. Also, the tiny copper screw that’s supposed to hold the adjoining portion between the copper and the the black pole that holds the light just wouldn’t fit in to the hole. I had to disregard that screw all together and just find a way for the two poles to hold in place.

Very good for the price
Light looks lovely. Shade bigger than anticipated. Was I bit fiddly to assemble but overall would definatly recommend this light
