It holds an amount of liquid, and is easy to carry, open, consume from and close. As such, it's a perfectly good hip flask. It is as hard to clean as any other, so be careful with those very syrupy type drinks.I'd say it's pretty thin, so most definitely you won't be the plucky hero in the black and white movie that gets shot by the bad guy, but survives because by chance he got hit in the hip flask, only to berate their attacker for wasting their single malt. Far from it, it feels like dropping it on the floor would likely dent it. However, so long as you wear it inside some stiff tweed (as of course you should), then I'm sure it'll suffice very well.

I've noticed these reviews are often attributed to different items from the same supplier.Easy to clean review rating by me is low, but that is in the nature of the opaque body and narrow neck design of the item. It would be true for a more substantial version at any price or specification.The item is rather thin walled. If you were to actually carry this item around in a hip pocket you would probably need to guard against accidental perforation by keys or other sharp edged objects, the walls really feel that thin. For a back pocket, forget it. That stated, if you did need to carry this item around regularly it might be time to take a critical look at yourself.It would probably be safe enough carried in a hip pocket with nothing else carried in the same pocket. If it were to leak, and it might, it could look embarrassing to an extent that would wipe out any perceived value. The sealing washer in the cap looks insubstantial, the sort of thing that might be found in single use food packaging. It could be easily replaced however.I paid in GBP at an equivalent of about $4 US inc shipping. Straight after purchase, Amazon offered the same thing at only. $2 Clearly, it is almost disposable at the lower price, saving environmental concerns. It's OK, I'm happy, but you should ask yourself whether you need it to be more substantial, for heavy duty. If not, go ahead.

For less than £2, you really can't complain much. This is a great little flask, and is made from good sturdy stainless steel. It feels good and rigid and will surely keep your beverage of choice safe and sound.Only problem is that it wobbles a little bit when standing up, however that could just be the one that I have, and not reflective of the product as a whole. However this doesn't really matter since it's not going to be spending it's life sitting on a table, but rather in a coat pocket or in a bag.

The pin that holds the retaining hinge to the flask fell out immediately; I replaced it with a bit of wire. The walls of the flask are pretty thin and could be easily flexed or dented. These complaints aside it's fine. Fulfils its function. Doesn't leak.
