Still looks new
After almost a year of daily use at sea, this latch still new. Well built with a nice finish.

Great hasp
Very nice hasp and very well priced. Fast delivery. Only complaint is no screws with it. Had to get small flat head screws that specifically fit the bored holes flush or the latch won’t turn.

Not 316 Stainless! Not 304 Not Marine Stainless
I Was Able To Use This But It Is Magnetic! 316 Stainless Will Not Attract to a Magnet, In fact Industrial 304 Is Non Magnetic So This Is Not Made Of The Quality You Would Expect For Marine Grade Hardware! The Entire Hasp Is Attracted To a Magnet, The Hinge Pins and Swivel Are Very Attracted to Magnets So I Have To Say This Is Low Quality and Has a Lot Of Play in the Hasp So It is Not Precision by a Long Shot!Was Cheap Money So I will Be Happy If I Don't See Rust Leaking Out Of It In Time.They Use The Word Stainless Freely These Days On Products! Rust Is a Brown Stain Hence Rust Stained Metal Is Not Stainless. This Product Looks Nice and very Thick But If The Hinge Pin Roots Out It's Trash.Quality Stainless Will Never Rust If Left In The Ocean for 1000 years.If This Lasts Outdoors In The Rain For 10 Years I Won't Complain But Nothing About This Is Marine Grade or 316 Stainless Steel. You Will Find Marine Grade Hardware Is 5X More Expensive So You Get What You Pay For Most Of The Time But It Is Comical Seeing Products being Sold As Stainless That Are Rotted Out in 3 Months. Of Course Things Are Engineered To Last Just Over Any Warrantees and they figure But The Time You Notice Rust Leaking From Your MARINE Hinge Pins the 30 day Return has Past :O(Normally I Would Return This Just For Misleading Statements:(1) 316 Stainless (NOT)(2) Marine Grade (NOT)(3) Rust Proof (NOT)

Heavy Duty and Nice Looking
I needed a heavy duty but attractive hasp and this fit the bill. Very heavy (thick stainless steel). The screws that come with it are very short; would be nice if they supplied an extra set of longer screws as well, but that is easy to fix. I can recommend this product.
