Reliable and easy-to-use airbrush kit — great for priming
I’ve had this Timbertech airbrush kit for a while now and used it on and off over the past few months. It’s easy to assemble, comes with clear instructions, and is straightforward to use — great for beginners or casual hobbyists. The airbrush works really well for priming miniatures, and the different nozzle sizes are a nice bonus. It’s also been reliable — no faults or issues so far. The compressor is a bit noisy, but nothing too distracting. For the price, it’s great value for money — solid performance at a very reasonable cost. Overall, a dependable and affordable airbrush kit that does the job well.

Great starter set!
I used to airbrush paintings and crash helmets several years ago, had a lot of very expensive equipment that was unfortunately lost in a fire and I just never bothered going back to it all until recently.I don't intend to do airbrush stuff on the same scale as I did before and am now more into model making/painting my own 3d printed creations, so wanted something cheap, but not so entry level that I would outgrow it too soon. This set won the pick from a range of other starter kits simply because the compressor looked to be a bit more robust than the others and the airbrush itself looked to be of fairly good quality. So far I've not been disappointed. The compressor, although a diaphragm type and not having a reservoir, actually gives quite a good airflow and doesn't pulse like I thought it would. The downside is that even though it's not really noisy, it runs all the time due to having no tank. Eventually I will probably replace this with another compressor with a reservoir as that would still be cheaper than buying an external tank + regulator, but for now this is going to do the job just fine. The airbrush is a reasonably well made dual action that even comes with 3 extra needles/nozzles of different sizes, something I didn't even get with a £150+ Badger airbrush!I haven't had the chance to try the smallest size needle to see how it does detail work yet, but from just a few trial runs with the standard needle I think it will probably be fairly good. The only things I think would complete this set, would be a set of cleaning needles and a quick connect for the hose.Again, I expect I'll probably buy upgraded brushes in time as well, but in all this set is an ideal starting platform.Other that that I would def recommend this set to others and have already done so in various model making/3D printing groups online!

Good kit for a beginner.
My first ever airbrush so I cannot compare it with any others. But it works very well for the purpose I wanted it for (spraying an ageing leather suite with fresh paint and then layering the protective coatings over the paint). It could certainly have more comprehensive instructions and I ended up watching generic videos on YouTube to understand how to use and maintain the Airbrush. The compressor works very well too and I am very pleased with its power and flexibility of pressures. Only minor downside is the compressor gets VERY hot after it has been used for about 20 minutes, so I have to space out my spraying to let it cool down a bit. If I hadn't lent our fans to our grand-daughter to keep her bedroom cool in the recent warm weather I would have one of them aimed at the compressor all the time it is operating. If you want to do continuous spraying over a period of time this is not the compressor you need.

A very good buy!
This is a very good quality unit. Easy to use and plenty of pressure available. Not noisy, just a hum as the air is charging. No sound at all when the brush is not in use.

Airbrush Magic Right Out of the Box!
This Timbertech Airbrush Kit with Compressor is perfect for both beginners and hobbyists who want to dive straight into the world of airbrushing. When I say it comes with everything you need, I mean it. Right out of the box, you're ready to create some pretty incredible effects, whether you’re working on paper, models, or even trying your hand at some fingernail art (yes, I tried it, and no, I didn't do a terrible job!).The airbrush gun is surprisingly easy to use. Thanks to the double-action feature, you can control both the airflow and the paint with just one finger, making it possible to achieve those soft gradients and precise details that take your work to the next level. The compressor, meanwhile, is compact, light, and oil-free, which means minimal maintenance and maximum portability. It’s also quiet, like, surprisingly quiet for something that shoots air with power.I love that the kit includes multiple nozzle sizes (0.2mm, 0.3mm, 0.5mm), which gives you a lot of versatility in your projects. Whether you’re spraying a fine line for model details or covering a larger area, you’ve got the right tool for the job. The adjustable air outlet means you can fine-tune the pressure to suit whatever you're working on, which is a fantastic feature for getting just the right effect. One word of advice, when they say 'automatic switch on-off,' they mean it. I had it auto-start on me once when I was reaching for something, and let's just say it gave me a good laugh (and maybe a slight jump). But once you get used to it, that feature really does make things easy.Overall, this airbrush kit is incredibly well put together. It's versatile, easy to use, and has pretty much everything you need to get started without any extra fuss. Whether you’re new to airbrushing or a seasoned pro, this kit makes it easy to create magic.

Performs great, a real nice kit.
Been using this for a few weeks and haven't had any major issues with it while priming my minis. It paints pretty nicely once it's going but can take a few seconds for the paint to properly flow into it so maybe point it at some cardboard until you get the flow you're after. It also cleans really well which is what you want for an airbrush, and also the air compressor isn't too noisy while providing enough pressure to get the job done. Be careful when handling the needle also, it looks fragile but it's also very sharp.
