I wished I had found these sooner. I've installed quite a few laminate floors over the years. Too many times the sheetrock or the baseboards are just to high for the basic spacers to hold still. These worked flawless to hold against the high baseboards. I could have taken off baseboards but I didn't want to have to deal with fixing the walls afterwards on this room. Never had them come loose.

I've redone the flooring in a couple rooms of my home, and in a few months will start the final 2 rooms.When there's only a few rows of flooring in place, it does seem to move around and I lose the consistent spacing with the wall. It can be annoying. I can see where these spacers might not fully prevent things from moving, but I certainly think they should help. Even if the flooring does move, the spacers should make it more obvious.

I like these much more than others I've received in my previous flooring kit. They're not only easy to install but they are also easy to pull out when the flooring tightens up. I use a little double face tape to hold them firmly against the slick laminate surface. This is effective keeping them in place till I'm through with the installation. My only complaint is there are too many of them. I only need half as many as what's included. It would make sense to me to have half as many for half as much. But these are sturdy and should last forever. I'm happy with the function and quality of these.

I will install vinyl flooring this winter, and I'll need these. So, I haven't used them. However, they are very uniformly made, and look to be easy to put in place and remove. I think they will work great.

I needed 1/4” spacing, so this is working well for me. But if you try to use it for 1/2" it is unstable and falls out or flips over. You can see by looking at the seller's images, the side/edge for 1/2” is too short and the spacer is too top heavy to be stable with the short edge downward. anytime you make a move or shift the flooring to close a gap, it falls out. If you want 1/4" this is good. If you need 1/2" keep shopping around.

Simple. They don’t stay in place.
