These work to get both hair and fur off of fabrics, furniture, rugs, mats (really good on mats and rugs that are low pile, not for high pile). It’s like a very fine micro rake. Wool, Microfiber or tight fibers that grab hairs, these will take and pull them away and off. However NOT Recommended for Fine Fabrics or ANY Sheer Fabrics as the fine teeth will damage possibly tear or run the material.I mainly use on dog rugs, blankets, throws, jackets and items that have a substantial backing material and they have not been disappointed me with the results.You can even use on some fabric or canvas shoes to renew rough the surface. Also for use on car carpets or small similar to hair and micro particles loose for later vacuuming.These work quite well for a simple tool provided you use a little common sense as to the type material you apply them to.
