Are the containers individual or do they come in pre-arranged blocks? - can they be individually stacked?

Containers come in individual blocks, you have to be very careful in assembling them as the slightest 1mm mistake does of course mean that the 'stack' is not square. If this does happen the container block looks not so good. I had to dispose of 4 stacks of containers as they were slightly out of alignment. Possibly the manufactures could find a better assembly technique for the container blocks.

Does the kit include everything you need to make it just like the photo? i.e. paint and decals?

you get a choice of decals for different ships, you don't get any paint or glue with the product, also the ship comes with a full depth hull which you have to make up, you can trim it down to waterline yourself though.

What scale is this please

1/700. A decent scale model. The only problems I had in building it were the containers one has to be particularly careful in constructing the 'boxes' as the slightest mistake means that you do not get the containers at 90 degrees......a bit fiddly to say the least.

does it float on water?

It is a plastic kit. Paints and glue are not included in the kit. It is a standing model, but can also be put on the water, does not go under
