Great Bay Home Velvet Plush Stretch Arm Chair Slipcover. Velvet Chair Furniture Protector, Soft Anti-Slip, High Stretch (Chair, Silver Cloud)

Just bought these and tried on our one chair that is basically just an accent chair because it's kinda broken in the foot rest part and it got wet and is peeling. So while it was fine for extra seating, it was an eye sore. This review is just for this chair even though I did buy a couch and the matching chair slip covers and have not used them yet.So.. upon first opening and putting on..easy peasy. Looks fantastic! Because it is leather and there is no way to keep it tucked in without spending an arm and a leg on those tuck in bars, I rolled up the cardboard that came with the slip cover and used that to tuck in. Worked like a charm! I then went and cut up part of the box and rolled up two more smaller pieces for the sides and it's holding very tight. 👍

When I first put these on my chairs I was happy with the fit. I needed them to cover bonded leather chairs that are flaking off. I was disappointed that they have a velvet/ fleece/ furry texture and they are very thin fabric. Also disappointing is that they slip when you sit in the chairs. I rolled small towels and shoved them between the arm and seat to try to keep them in place, which helps. But these come out often. I am back to considering reupholstery.

Having never ordered a slip cover before I can’t compare to others. However , this was quick and easy to use. I purchased spiral tuck pins as I assumed with my large chair, keeping it tucked in would be an issue, and it was without the pins. I chose the dark grey for coverage, and it didn’t dissapoint. As you can see by the photos, my chair was heavy tweed with large piping lines and lots of curves/bumps. The velour texture of the cover erases all the underneath texture, which was vital for this project. I only sincerely wish I could get a matching cover for the ottoman foot stool that goes with the chair. I can’t say yet how well it wears, but as it is synthetic I think cleaning it will be a snap. The material does not feel like high quality, but neither does it feel like it will fall apart any time soon- Id say its mid range quality. My kids really love the snuggly feel.

I looked for hours trying to find chair covers. My chairs were not in bad shape but they were faux leather and didn’t have that cozy feel to them...now comes these.First, I have a wing back chair but not with a “T” cushion ( box cushion on a wing chair covers are impossible to find). I thought the winged part would look funny because I have no way to tuck that part but honestly it just blends in.Second, I purchased the IZO foam pad 1”x 24” x 72 for $19.99 (enough to do 2 chair pads under the cover). They are memory foam but not too padded. I cut the foam on the back end long enough to tuck the back behind the cushion.Third, I bought Oodles of Noodles 1.5 Inch x 18 Inch Solid Core Foam Sticks- 6 Pack. (I swear these were made for chair covers). They came in a 6 pack, enough to do both sides and the back. They are the perfect length and width. I tucked them over the chair covers deep into the cushion and they haven’t budged.Lastly, I bought a 4 pack of furniture ”suspenders” and they were white and the perfect length (although they are adjustable). I used 2 per chair on the bottom to pull the material all together on the front and back.These covers are soft, seem durable and are super stretchy to cover everything. All materials for this project were on Amazon. I spent a total of about $90 and saved myself hundreds of dollars not having to purchase new chairs that my dogs will trash over time. I am a happy shopper today for sure!!

Hard to describe how happy I am with this purchase. I was a doubter, for sure! I had my old pink baby rocker/swivel chair from my daughter’s nursery that was super expensive and super comfortable, but with the pink striped fabric and the ruffle at the bottom it was a little ridiculous. I was going to pay the $1,500 to have it reupholstered, but I figured I’d try this in the interim. When the package came I said eeewwww. It was an ugly print and the fabric was like a kid’s pajamas. I was going to return it immediately. But then I got to wondering about the fit — like, what if I could find a better fabric, would it even fit? So I took it out of the package and tried it out on the chair. It fit almost like a custom upholstery job and the print was fabulous all stretched out. The soft pajama fabric was actually pretty cool. I ended up loving it so much that I’m going to order a second one to have on hand as a back up in case this one ever gets stained or damaged and winds up being discontinued.

After hours and many websites of searching for 6 months, this was the winner for sure. I’m not sure why I didn’t even check amazon first. Great chair cover, soooo pleasantly surprised. Easy to use and slip on. Color changes depending on light. More beige in darker lighting and emphasis on the”silver cloud” color in direct sunlight. Color doesn’t match my decor perfectly, but perfectly imperfect. Thankful for great reviews when I was buying so I wanted to return the favor.

I am a sewist and know my fabrics, this is not velvet, if it was you would have to dry clean it. However, it is a very nice plush velour, very washable, pretty durable for a knit fabric and after inspecting the seams and elastic, well made. Looks great on my husbands chair and if it lasts beyond a year of daily use I'll consider it very durable. I like it enough that I just ordered another cover for our love seat in Zinfadel Red. We have a thin leather love seat in red, but it won't hold up to the onslaught of kids, cats and dogs and I'm hating the ugly protective cover I have to keep on it. Something pretty that will cover the whole thing is much preferable. I can keep the heavy cover on underneath as further protection from sharp claws and have it look nice at the same time. Win/Win

Pretty much exactly as advertised. Looks good. Nice and soft. A little tight on my chair, but, as you can see, it's a large one. I am using pins and staples to hold all the lines in the right places, but even without them it's okay. Overall very good value for the price.

I have two strangely shaped arm chairs. They are not square like normal. I wondered if this chair cover wouldwork on my fastly peeling fake red leather chairs.The instructions were very basic - a sign to "start here" and that was it. I found it helpful to have my husbandhold that corner as I worked the rest of the cover onto the chair.As I mentioned, my chairs are not the shape these covers were intended. There wasn't much of a lip underneathto hang on to so I grabbed two bungies, shortened them by tying knots until the right length and then placed onefrom front to back and the other from side to side and voila! stays on great!The look is more liked a loosely draped chair cover except it is being held fast on the bottom by the bungies.I only bought one to see how it would work out. Now I am ordering the second one - I just can't make up mymind to stay with the wine colour for both or get creative and toss caution to the wind and choose anothercontrasting colour. Whatever I choose, I know the chairs will look 100 times better than they were before Icovered them.The material is the softest, most luxuriously feeling fabric I have come across.

Please let folks know to add some extra onto the size of their piece of furniture When ordering these furniture covers make sure you add a few extra inches onto their measurements.I ordered a chair cover, going by their measurements & it was quite a bit to small, which in turn made me have to package it back up, get a return slip & return the cover which I was hoping to have for over an older chair during the Xmas holidays, but because of the sizing I didn't have it to use!

Our old bonded leather chair was starting to break apart and we had visitors coming over!! The chair is very comfy and we like it a lot, so we needed another solution to keep it. This slipcover does the trick quite well. We had no trouble putting it on and we also used bungee cords under the chair to keep it from slipping off; we're very happy with this slipcover.

This happens to fit my couch perfectly! Super soft, beautiful! Very happy will order from seller again!
