Shaver Series 1000 with Pop-Up Trimmer, S1232/41

It works for like it should

I have alway used Philips products and they are dependable and sturdy. It gives a good, close shave, and like all Philips razors, fits very well in the hand and is light-weight. It is very easy to use. One odd point is that my razor's charging cable was for a two-pin European plug and came with a separate adapter for North American sockets.

My husband needed a new razor so I bought him this one and he loves it. I did real good picking this one out, well worth the money.

For this is the least expensive and gives a closer shave.

I’ve had electric razors in the past that I have returned as they guarantee ‘close as a blade’ and they fell short. I had a Phillips 3 head for a number of years prior to getting this new one. Needed blades replaced and I had broken the flip top button making it very difficult to shave and hold the head down. For the cost of new heads and trying to the snap that I broke I figured I’d just get a new one. Well worth the money. This does give me a shave as close as a blade. I have very sensitive skin and when I use a blade my neck will often swell up form contact with dust, or even just my collard shirt rubbing on it. Using this I get a close shave with non of the sensitivity issues. Highly recommend this product.

La batterie est dune duré acceptable ni plus ni moin et pour se qui est de la durabilité on verra avec le temp. Nettoyage assez simple et rapide. Jaurais aimer plus de douceur lors des passage mes vu le prix tres acceptable alors chu sastisfait. Pour le prix resultat je recommande. Est venu avec bloc et fil pour recharge. A noter ttete et lame peu etre laver a leau mes etre tres prudent car le reste de lappareil non. A suivre pour la durabilité Après 9 mois d'utilisation tout va encore bien mes ses très long se raser la tête au complet faut passer et repasser souvent la batterie bon pour un rasage complet ses tout

I bought this for its pricepoint, its name to give it a shot as a head shaver. Note the the 5 stars all around! I shave my head about every 3 or 4 days, and this razor give me a close-as-a-razor shave..well, close enough I could make that comparison, and to my liking anyway. My first shave had stubble about 1/4" long, and the shave took me about 5-6 mins to clean my skull. The next shave 3 days after took me about 2-3 mins, and that quiet razor buzzed all that stubble to a clean and shiny dome. I did try it on my face, and it work reasonably well except on the neck area, the bane of all electric razors, which caused a red rash in its leaving (I wiped the heads down with alcohol before shaving my face),and takes longer than a 1 minute razor shave. In fact my face took a lot longer than my skull shave. I charged my razor as soon as I got it, used it for 4 shaves so far and it still is humming along very quietly, and slicing that stubble away. No idea how long the 1000 will last, but I will probably upgrade if this is the quality I get from the cheapest model. Very impressed Philips!
