Great buy
Really nice helmet, quality materials great fit, serviceable and it didn’t break the bank. The photo chromatic visor is an awesome addition. Helmet is a little loud, but I always wear earplugs so no issues for me there. Flows a good amount of air and is comfortable great value for the money paid.

Awesome helmet
This is my second helmet. The first helmet I bought was a Scorpion, a decent helmet, but I was sized wrong, as both myself and the sales person didn't know much about proper sizing procedures. I got a 2XL in that and discovered much later that was too big. After research and sizing the right way, I ordered the DLX Qualifier in XL. At first it seemed like a tight fit, but it was tight in all the right places, and over time it has conformed to my head and face, and no longer squeezes my jaw. I like that it's set up for the Sena communicator, but I haven't tried it out yet. The color scheme is awesome, I get comments on it all the time. It seems a little bit louder than the Scorpion I have, but I wear the plugphones ear plugs to listen to music and cut down on engine and wind noise, so it's not too bad. I think my favorite part is the transition face shield. It tints to a dark smoke in the sun, and at night it's clear, no more toting around an extra clear shield! It transitions fairly quickly too, so going into a tunnel it lightens up enough to see. It doesn't get dark enough to not wear sunglasses underneath though. I also didn't like how they covered up the pin up devil may care graphic with the DOT sticker. I ended up heating it up a little and peeling it off. See the picture for that. Overall, great helmet.

Incredible quality and comfort.
I’ve been riding for over 30 years, this means I’ve had all kinds of helmets. I’ve owned helmets that were close to a grand, and some that were less than a hundred. This helmet is superb quality, exceptional comfort right out of the box (required no break in time for me), and packed full of features. There’s a laundry list of pros here: the auto tint visor (takes a few seconds, and gets as dark as any normal tinted visor - not quite dark enough for me to ditch my shades though), the comfort is extra plush, internals are super easy to remove and install my Cardo comm system, safety features built into the shell, it’s fairly quiet, with reasonable air flow, overall the helmet is packed full for this price. I’ve seen this model at my local dealership for just under $500… so I’m living proof that it pays to shop around. Cons: no quick detach on the strap, visor doesn’t get dark enough to ditch my shades… other than these two nit-picky items I’m in love with this helmet… seriously. Only other note I have is to try to find one local to try on before you buy. I’m glad I did, I know I would’ve bought my typical size but after trying one on I bought a size larger. This helmet gets 5 stars from me.

Good entry mid level helmet.
Just got into riding a motorcycle. I was advised ball was a good mid level option for protection and budget friendly. The wind noise is quiet at 40 MPH. I hardly notice it and the vents work well and keep me cool and comfortable while riding. I got the “Devil May Care” helmet in a Large size and I absolutely love it. The only concern I have is the flexibility of the helmet. I can squeeze it and it flexed a fair amount not sure if that’s normal but just a small concern other than that it’s great and I love it.

Coming from a Shoei
My old Shoei helmet served me well but after years of use it was time for something new but didn't have the budget for a premium helmet. This Bell DLX helmet seemed to be the best bamg for the buck so I decided to try it. While I will say it isn't the same quality as what I'm used to the price reflects it. What I will say is this is a great helmet for the price. The the protint visor and brow vents are what sold me on it as well as a included chin curtain. It's neither super loud or super quiet. In terms of comfort. It is a SOB to get on and off when it's new but after a few rides it will start to slip on and off much easier and it's pretty comfortable once it's on. I'm tempted to gibe it 4 stars because of it's cheap feel and construction but I remember the price. I will give it 5 stars because of the features it offers for the price it's a great helmet especially if you can find one at or below $200. Great airflow, Mips and fully removable liner. It's great.

Awesome helmet
The media could not be loaded. Love this helmet. Looks awesome. Fits perfect. Very comfortable. Love the adjusting sun visor. Would prefer an updated chin strap/retention system but it's not a deal breaker. Really can't beat it for the price.

It's ok. But I wouldn't recommend it.
I would like to give this helmet one more star but I won't. I like this helmet because it's light, comfortable, you get lots of air through the front and forehead vents, the photochromic face shield is simply awesome and the overall shape of this helmet is just right. What I don't like about it, this helmet is loud. Compared to my Shark Drak Dual helmet, which is technically an open face helmet and therefore will naturally be loud, the wind noise is almost the same. Not good for a full face helmet. The plate cover for a bluetooth unit, great concept, bad application. All it does is add to the wind noise. Having a communications unit inside this helmet is practically pointless because the wind noise is simply too loud. The top vents, with its vent holes pointing straight down due to the way it opens and closes, doesn't really vent anything. All I've noticed it do is add to the wind noise instead of venting air into the helmet. The photochromic/transitions face shield is great, I love it. However, the one that came with my helmet fogs up so easily it seems that Bell forgot to put some anti-fog on it. I have to crack open my face shield every time I stop so it doesn't fog up which sometimes gets annoying. Overall I still like this helmet. We really can't ask too much given its price range. Will I recommend it? No not really. For the price of this helmet you can get a much better one, which I did. I purchased the Shark Skwal for the same price.
