This Camera Is A Beast!!!
The media could not be loaded. I have purchased a few dozen cameras over the past couple of years as a hobby and I can confidently say that this is among the best quality cameras you can purchase at this price point. It boasts a full 4K resolution with every bit of 8MP utilized and on display..It has some AI features such as recognizing and differentiating humans, vehicles and animals. It does have a quirk I've noticed with this feature, which is it is fascinated and almost obsessed with a car parked down the block and across the street. I have no idea what it is about that vehicle except it is painted an obnoxious lime green. Aside from that it identifies accurately. This has a true 20x optical zoom. For those that do not know the difference between optical and digital zoom, look it up, optical is always better because its true zoom not digitized. As you can see in a couple of the photos which are taken far away first and then zoomed in in another photo, AMAZING quality. The video quality is superb. I included a video of the camera panning. Disregard the jumpiness during the panning, as that is attributed to my network congestion when I recorded it.The setup was fairly intuitive so I don't imagine many folks will have difficulty during set-up. The manual could use a better author, but I have come to expect subpar grammar and syntax with these imported products. The camera itself is quite large, which is understandable given it has to house and drive a lens that focuses up to 20x.The icing on the cake is that they offer a 2 year warranty after you register the camera, so make sure you do that for peace of mind.TL;DR.. Buy this camera!

An excellent outdoor PTZ camera
I purchased the Jennov P87HM85-30X-EAS camera for outdoor surveillance of my home.I have owned and operated several different kinds of surveillance cameras over the years. This camera has very good PTZ capability and excellent picture quality.I am using a TP-Link TL-SG1005P PoE+ switch to provide power to the camera over approximately 100ft of CAT6 cable. I have had zero issues with this setup.I am running Synology Surveillance Station as my video recorder. I have full PTZ control over the camera using the ONViF compatibility setup in the software. I am able to watch and record the camera in 4k resolution and use H265 (x265) compression. I find the “Intelligent Detection” on the camera very interesting. It can identify people, animals, cars, and bikes to track and record. Tracking has been pretty smooth, and the camera will follow a car leaving my place and zoom in as the cars moves away. This gives me a good picture of the license plate. Night time viewing was surprisingly good at a distance of a couple of hundred feet. I wasn’t expecting it to be able to see that far in the dark. The only issue I ran into was having the camera “notify” Surveillance Station of a “detection” alarm to start recording. I would have thought this would be an ONViF handshake message. I haven’t found a camera yet that Surveillance Station was able to receive a detection messages to properly trigger recordings this way. I don’t fault this camera for this issue. I overcame this by setting Surveillance Station to motion detection and screening a lot of the video area out to just watch a section in the middle of the picture. This keeps tree leaves from setting off a recording. When the camera identifies something, it will automatically move/zoom to track it. This movement is seen in the video on Surveillance Station and it starts recording. In setting up the camera, I did use some “set” commands as explained in camera instructions. I felt that I messed something up, so I factory defaulted the camera and contacted support at Jennov for a complete listing of the set commands and what they do. They were quick with a response and helped me with my questions.I have been VERY happy with the price-point and quality of this camera and am considering purchasing a second one for another location.

Great quality and value
I've been really impressed with this camera. The components are heavy-duty, and out of the box it functioned without any issue. The camera operates via POE or regular ethernet and an included AC adapter (you don't need to use both POE and the adapter).I was considering a more expensive brand but since I didn't need to have the very best for my situation (monitoring our front driveway) I figured I would give this a try. I'm glad I did because once I got it configured, it tracks activity very well, and interfaces perfectly with my Synology Camera station. Since I don't have a higher priced PTZ camera to compare it to, I can't rate the AI's auto tracking, but I can say that this Jennov camera does follow vehicle and human movement AND auto zooms in as I would hope. The instructions are pretty lousy BUT the email support is actually very good and provides answers to what you need. I'm putting some responses here in order to help folks who might have the same trouble:first of all- their "Video Link" software doesn't seem to do anything I needed, instead, install the AJDevTools and use the WEB GUI.Set detection zone boundaries from the AJDevTools application. Right-click on the camera, then choose "remote config" and choose "English"Setting the preset functions and the default view is not intuitive. I needed to change my default view (the one that the camera reverts to after following motion). Here is the instructions they gave me:To change the home default position for your camera, you’ll first want to turn off the auto-tracking feature. You can do this by calling 94.Next, if you’d like to reset all the preset functions, call 33. After that, you can use call 115 to recalibrate the PTZ.When setting up the auto-tracking feature, here’s what you need to do:1. Type 92 and click Set or Add—this will save the original position.2. Then type 92 again and click Call—this enables the camera’s auto-tracking.Once you’ve done that, your camera should return to the home position after tracking an object.
