Great product. Brought to be given as a Christmas present. My brother doesn't have an inbuilt DVD drive on his note book and this will help to install things which aren't available as digital downloads. Went for this product as it works on usb 3.0 so will have fast read/write speeds. Lightweight, slim design and overall very portable. Can also be stored very easily when not in use.

You get what you pay for.
It has a plastic and flimsy construction that reminded me of the kids toys you get from McDonalds with a Happy Meal. That is it needed some fitting together what I got it as the front panel hadn't been attached properly. Also the cradle isn't aligned properly in the body of the drive so it needs some fiddling to slide it back and close it. I give it 3 stars because it's actually a decent, fast drive which ignoring the poor build quality is better than my previous drive at ripping DVDs. Basically good technology in a very poor build.

Plug & Play error free unit.
A great little external drive. I bought it as my laptop didn’t have a cd/dvd drive and I had some games on disc that I wanted installing.No issues, just plug and play. It installed everything quickly with no errors.Compact and a good price, I’m very happy with it.

Works perfectly reading and writing both CDs and DVDs. Excellent choice for those wanting to add an external drive to a super-slim laptop. It has cables provided to run it from 2 USB ports (to provide adequate current) but I only found it necessary to use both when burning disks - it reads fine when connected to just a single port .

This might be one dodgy one but overall the quality seems very poor. There are two leads provided
First time of use it stopped working and now has one of my CD's stuck inside it. This might be one dodgy one but overall the quality seems very poor. There are two leads provided, one USB type which was okay, and a pin type lead that did not seem to fit at all. Even when fully inserted the pin was wobbly and fell out. Just feels like it is cheaply made so I would recommend avoiding it.

great item came on time I only got this because my computer cd drive broke and wouldn't read dvd or cd so I bought this so I can watch my dvds and cds on my computer in till I got it fixed

Not Worth the Money.
I hate it a lot it was working the first time when I did receive it, & now the next day it didn't work.The one I've received It's faulty. & I did ask amazon for a full refund & I'm returning it ASAP.

The one I got was faulty ,it was hit and miss whether the PC picked it up or not .When it worked it was so slow ,just like USB 2 speed.Sending to back .
