Keeps the cold out
My laundry room is not heated. The winter weather would pour out from this room to the rest of the house. I put these up to close off the laundry room and it has made a huge difference. The whole house is warmer and less drafty. Loved the color.

Nice and dark I oversleep.
Products were used in rooms with big windows that’ll illuminate the room when the suns out. I find myself not getting enough sleep when that happens and the curtains are amazing. Very little sunlight shines through. Its as if the sun has never risen. Must try and buy.

Adequate Thickness to Partially Block Light
Pure White color blocks about half the sunlight. Thicker than I expected, in a good way. Sort of a sleek, almost silky feel to the fabric. Using the back tabs made it easy to install on an old fashioned extendable curtain rod. They needed a Lot of steaming to release the wrinkles from the packaging. But after that they look quite nice. Can’t beat the price for the quality.

Love these
Favorite curtains I've bought many sizes and colors and I will probably keep buying. They keep the room from getting too hot, no light gets through, good materi with some weight to it

If you want darkening your room, get a darker colour
I've bought 4 sets of curtains, all the same with different colors. The darker ones work better. My last acquisition was a grayish with set, and it definitely doesn't work as well and the others green and blue we've installed in our kids bedroom.

Not as nice as Nicetown.
These curtains arrived quickly, in with the rest of my order. They were packaged in a heavy plastic bag to protect them from shipping damage.I was looking for quality velvet blackout curtains that would be pet tolerant. I have two cats, two dogs, and two rabbits and the style I’m going for is “elevated goth cottagecore”.The fabric on these curtains is a synthetic satin-ish. They are not blackout, but they do block some light. If you hold the fabric up to a light source either the sunshine or a light bulb, you are able to see the light. I’m a nurse, a gamer, and a student. When I need to block the light I *really* need to block the light. If I had to put a number on it, I would say 60% light blocking, they definitely are room darkening. They would easily be destroyed by pets or kids, the fabric screams delicate. I pulled an edge out of the package, held it to the light and knew instantly they would need to be returned. This fabric is the type of fabric that gives my skin the heebie-jeebies too, for some reason. Some synthetic satin-esque fabric catches on the microscopic dry cells of my fingertips and makes me shudder. I know, I’m a sensitive baby.If you want an idea of how these look, and feel to touch, try out the Walmart brand Mainstays. They are almost identical, but they are heavier fabric and a higher quality. They are a good weight, the fabric probably looks expensive hanging up, and they are sewn neatly, carefully and professionally. If you are looking for a satin type darkening curtain that is twice as expensive as the nicetown variety, these are the ones you want. I purchased one set (they come as a set) of the 84 inch grommet style black (velvet) for about 70 dollars. They are definitely not velvet texture, and definitely NOT blackout, but they are good quality curtains.I did return these curtains (I have prime) and received a full, prompt refund with no issues.

Return s aren’t free !!!
Very disappointed in this item , wanted to return it but it was going to cost me $41.00 , they only cost me $50 to begin with . I thought returns were free. Decided to keep them and use them elsewhere, wasn’t worth the anger to only receive $9 back

NOT WORTH THE FRUSTRATION.
I read the reviews and thought I'd made an educated decision. Wrong.I tried everything you can think of to stop the 'bowing out' of the curtains at the hemline, nothing works. I tried fishing weights, paperclips, and hemline weights. I tried hanging them by the tab tops and the rod pockets. NOTHING WILL MAKE THEM HANG STRAIGHT. I'm NOT happy with the purchase!

They DO block the light!
These curtains are EXCELLENT at blocking the light as desired, and for being a microfibre product are actually quite heavy looking and soft. They unfortunately arrive VERY wrinkled, something I initially sought to resolve by steaming, but that wasn't very successful. Ironing proved to be the necessary intervention and then they hung just fine. In a 1953 bungalow, I have old-fashioned curtain rods, and used 1.5" hooks at the back loops to hang the curtains. This doesn't allow for very good pleating, but it works. Overall, my main objective was to block light and these DO that VERY VERY WELL.

Olive/army green curtains
My favourite colour, not super shiny like 1 review claimed. More of a matte in my opinion, perfect length for the window I'm using them in. Soft to boot. Came folded up so a bit wrinkled but they'll settle as all curtains do. They definitely keep a lot of light out, didnt even purchase them for that but I'm quite impressed. Photos are from bright mid day for the blackout effect.

Good Quality
I needed shorter curtains to fit the window above my kitchen sink. This proved to me more difficult than I thought to find ones that were good quality and a reasonable price. These ones worked well and after a year, are holding up nicely (minus the fading which is to be expected as the window they are on receives full afternoon sun). When the time comes I will purchase another pair of these if they are available.
