2 Pcs Front Hood Lift Supports Shocks Struts Gas Charged Fit for 1982-1992 Chevy Camaro Pontiac Firebird

No pressure in these hood struts whatsoever. When we installed these and took the support pole we were using out from under the hood, the hood nearly smashed my buddy's fingers as it came crashing down.

I reused my OEM clips on these as the supplied ones did not seem to grip like they should. Keeps my third gen steel hood up.

This was perfect for my 1985 Z28. Both snapped right on and hold are strong, they hold the hood up with ease. I would recommend this product.

Bought these for 1991 Camaro. While they were well made, and there was nothing wrong with the construction, they were around 3/4 of an inch too long. Had to return them and look for something different.

Good replacement struts for my 88 Iroc-z factory steel hood. My only dislike are the cheap clips they supply. I suggest using your old clips.

What exactly does sheerness mean? Who knows but I give it a 5. The sheer fact these hold the hood up gives it some sheerness factor that cannot be ignored. Tired of your hood falling down and cracking on your skull? Or weary of carrying a cut-down broom handle? These babies are for you. Spend a few bucks and save your noggin some craters!

Did not fit 86 camero iroc like description said. The shock is longer than the original. Too hard to compress to get it to fit. Scratched all the paint on the hinge trying to pry into place. In pic, left is the original and right is the new.

Easy to install. I used them with a fiberglass hood so they kind of raise aggressively due to the decreased load, but not dangerously so.
