Patiowell 5x3 FT Outdoor Storage Shed, Brown

This 5 x 3 shed was easy to put together, just takes me around 2 hours. Instructions are easy to follow, but you need to make sure all parts are lining up correctly. Overall it’s sturdy enough and perfect in size for my backyard. And wife is happy too with it’s matching color to our exterior wall. Now we can finally put all garden tools in one place! Excellent value and highly recommended!

I’m giving this 4 stars because their customer service is good and because price was good. Some pieces came with dents but not a deal breaker. However, this thing is VERY difficult to assemble. Material is flimsy and you absolutely need 2 people for assembly. I am in the trade field and pretty good assembling stuff. This took me and my wife almost 2 days to finish. We did take our time but it was definitely very tedious. Lots and lots of hardware. Overall we’re happy with it because it looks nice and we cleared our garage of lots of mess. We also got some concrete tiles at Lowe’s and anchored it to that. It’s holding really nice.

This is a "tin" shed. You get what you pay for and it has exceeded my expectations. Overall took me 2 hours to build and I recommend a second set of hands for the first few wall panels. Instructions were better than Ikea (clear with some words). Some holes didn't align but drilled through fine. Overall 90% was perfect during install. Likely 10% was my mistakes. There is no floor included in this shed. Even if you have a solid concrete slab I recommend putting on plywood as there are holes to secure it to. This makes it more water tight. With mine I build a platform out of 2x4 to keep it from sitting directly where water can puddle. Inside storage is good, fits my shovels/rakes weed eater (at an angle) and I found some shelves that fit the width length for great storage. If I had more room I would upgrade to a larger size of this same shed! Also it is worth mentioning this is not air tight. the ceiling does have gaps making it breathable but large enough for small critters to get into.

I do NOT recommend this shed. Yes- it was cheaper than an actual, good quality shed. So, you do indeed, “get what you paid for”. Ah, my first mistake. First, it came with a plastic coating all over it. Perfect- protecting the metal! No. It was a nightmare to peel off and you cut your fingers while doing so because of the thin metal. They kindly provide you with gloves to wear, except you can’t wear them while peeling it off so the little shed knives slice your fingers. It’s great that the coating is there because it protects the metal from your blood stains. Once the plastic is off, the paint on the metal scratches off so easily that you were better off keeping the peeling mess on. The instructions were dreadful. They were vague and askew and left you wondering which direction the parts go because the image didn’t coincide with the minimal word guidance. The metal was ridiculously flimsy that I worry a good gust of wind will take this thing away. The ONLY reason I am not returning this is because I don’t feel like going through the hassle of lugging this thing somewhere to be returned. And I really just need it to store simple, smaller yard items (thank the Lord). It certainly won’t stop thieves from getting inside of it, but it’s light enough that they could probably just steal the entire shed. So, maybe I’ll get lucky and they’ll take it away for me. As you can guess from this review, I hate this thing, hate the process it took to put it together, and highly recommend saving your money to put it towards something more expensive, yet better quality. 8/7/2026- I am upgrading my review from 1 star to 2 stars because, although it really is a terrible quality shed, it has held up to New England elements and has not yet blown away.

"To start with, the very small fasteners are VERY combursome to work with, with my beat-up, old caperpenters' fingers and hands, I spent half the time it took in just fighting with them; I cannot say I'm bristling with confidence in their capacity to hold the whole unit together in the winds we get here. The steel itself is thinner that most expect, while it looks like standard steel roofing/siding - it's significantly thinner - the specs are clear on this, but w/out a frame of reference, most aren't going to connect the 2 point. The instructions are pretty good, mostly pictorial, but there are a few things hat could be clearer - which way the base corners and siding seams/joints overlap - and why it's important to include; if one doesn't lap the wall corners according to the site's position relative to winter storms, and even dust, then it very easily could blow in through under/overlapping sections. Including how to make sure the base is square should also be in the instructions, it isn't something most/many folks are going to automatically pick up on; even with the base's corners properly screwed together it can, likely will be, out of square by 1/4" or a bit more - and if it isn't square - the pre-cut/drilled holes and sections won't align right. The siding overlaps are pretty poor as to fitting tightly, caulking will be a minimum, fastening them down with self-tapping screws as well, is what it'll take here - and it wouldn't have mattered the direction of the overlap, it is just as loose either way. Lastly, a number of the pre-drilled holes are misaligned, and some of the ones in the siding were split/blow-outs, making for potential weak points. especially ones in the corners. The base needs for holes to screw it down properly, just the corners - per manufacture - will not likely be enough, I know for certain these mountain winds are well beyond what just corner screws could hold. I'm also going to add a pair of ratchet straps to the entire construction, I built a proper floor box for it with enough meat to hold some eye-bolts as anchor points, the winds are only going to get stronger as the climate collapse worsens and this is already sketchy - I can see the whole unit being ripped off of the base frame and scattered as mega-shrapnel. It's one me to make sure that can't happen." Quote from the man I had to hire to put this shed together. It's almost disposable! I don't expect it to last more than a year at best!

I am very happy with this storage shed. It was easier to assemble than I expected, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I do recommend having two people for the assembly process, as it makes the job much easier and faster. Once assembled, it feels sturdy and looks great. It provides plenty of storage space and arrived in excellent condition. Overall, a great purchase and excellent value for the price. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The seller is excellent as well as the product they sell is top notch. I initially purchased this shed during last winter which was very cold so I wasn’t able to assemble it until later this year. When I started constructing the shed initially I screwed part of it in properly including using the washers that the seller had provided. However upon leaving it for a few days a few of the panels started to bend as well as to warp. Then within a matter of a few weeks the panels fell off completely. The situation was very troubling so I contacted the seller. However their response quickly put me at ease by being both prompt and as well as professional. The seller asked me initially which part was bending to which I conveniently supplied relevant pictures of the situation. I showed the pictures of the bending as well as warping that had occurred within the panels themselves. Mind you please that the panels are made of a corrugated thin metal likely aluminum due to how easy they are to wobble for lack of a better word as well as to bend. When I sent the seller a picture they immediately offered to send a replacement part. Since I was unsure of the name of the part besides just corrugated panel I let them know I would appreciate a replacement. The seller was very courteous in that they promptly sent out a replacement and was professional in how they cared about the customer to see through the situation to the end. At the end I was able to get a shed that is great at a fair price due in part to the actions of the seller. For those who are worried about purchasing such a shed from patiowell due to the quality please keep in mind that these prefabricated sheds are made in kit form in very large quantities on a factory assembly line floor. As a result some of the panels may be stronger than others. By focusing on such large scale economies of scale production of these popular shed kits the seller is able to keep sheds cost low and pass the savings onto the consumer as well as customer. One is unlikely to find a better shed than this shed especially at the very competitive price point of just over one hunder dollars $100. If you find yourself unsatisfied at all with the product after purchasing simply let the seller know as they will do their best to make you satisfied which includes providing a replacement when necessary

I’ll start by saying I’m typically good at assembling products of all kinds by myself. In this case, I needed help - which was a first. The panels are very flimsy and it is difficult to align the holes at certain stages. You can get in a flow then be slowed down by poor alignment, insufficient instructions or hard to reach mini bolt-nut locations. The roof was the biggest issue - The screws along the forward edge have nothing to engage to - I added strips of wood (see video) to solve this serious flaw. Also, the left and right outer roof panels must be placed a certain way (for specific hole alignment on the outer most edges) but the instructions do not show you this. Once completed, it’s an ‘ok’ shed although anyone can break in to it with ease. It’s says 2-3 hours for assembly… it took us 8 hours. Ultimately, it will serve its purpose but at the cost of one of the most frustrating assemblies of all time. Tools used: electric screwdriver, socket-wrench, pliers, manual screwdriver to tighten.
